We’ve done a few afternoon teas and this absolutely the best so far! Great balance of sweet and savoury, not over facing and certainly very tasty and great quality! The individually made cake, scone and mousse were delicious and the addition of fries was exactly what balances the savoury sandwiches, Apricot & pork sausage roll, mushroom with truffle oil and a crusty slice of bread with Italian meat and oil. I would highly recommend visiting the Bread & Butter, it was excellent quality, local business, friendly and attentive staff and ultimately a very tasty afternoon tea! Thank you for such a lovely review! Glad you enjoyed it all & hope to see you again!

Just had the full monty following a 5k in the local park. Quiet, relaxed ambiance in premises very tastefully decorated and spotless. Breakfast itself was beautifully presented, the items of good quality and super value for money. Would have preferred the toast in a rack to keep crunchy, but that’s being a little pedantic. The waitress (owner?) was super polite and courteous.

No. 15 Cafe House

I arrived at the cafe with my son at 1230 for a quick lunch we were quickly seated the place was fairly tables were very close to each other. The lovely Alison took out orders she was very pleasant very professionals and explained that the tart of the day was and have us the menu see picture . I ordered the creamy mushroom on sourdough bread and my son ordered the egg mayonnaise sandwich which arrived with some crisps and salad . The food arrived within 10 mins .. the place was immaculate clean cuttleries on the table there was however no salt . Salt was provided when we asked the waitress. The creamy mushroom served hot thr sour dough bread was toasted a little hard to cut with a knife the salad which accompanied the mushroom was lovely the dressing was sweet and really tasty. My son enjoyed his lovely sandwich which came with some crisps and salad we also had a side of sweet potato fries which was just warm ... for desert we chose the cakes we wanted which were displayed at the til we ordered the carrot cake a good portion was served and I had the bakewell tarte which was again very fresh not overly sweet. I really think what made the place so brilliant was not only its cosy and contemporary feel was a lot to do with not only the decor but also the friendliness of the waiting staff a big thank you to Alison who had a very friendly demeanour and the lady serving at the till I did not catch her name she had short black hair and there was a very pleasant young lady who was in and out if the kitchen always had a smile on her face and appear to enjoy her job . I visited the place for the first time was very impressed by the food cleanliness however it was a little pricey but worth every penny. Please see pictures for food . The bill for the two meals and cakes and a cappuccino and a cup of coffee came up to 29 pounds. The place was very busy and there was adequate staff two people in the kitchen and two serving one at the till which makes such a difference. I shall definitely return to sample other meals .Thank you for the very detailed and positive report. It is great for the staff and chefs to hear how much you have enjoyed the food and service. We source the majority of our fresh produce from local suppliers. We do not compromise on quality which you have obviously recognised. We also have our in-house baking kitchen where Katie and myself produce our favourites for you to enjoy.Alison and the rest of the staff will be very pleased to receive your lovely feedback. They all enjoy their work so much and are a very happy team. I am very lucky indeed .

We were warmly greeted by friendly staff early on Saturday morning. The restaurant has a nice ambience and is very clean and stylishly decorated. I opted for the eggs royal and my son got the small breakfast. I was brought a lovely pot of real tea, a refreshing change. The food is cooked to order so is very fresh. My eggs royal was delicious, very plentiful and packed with smoked salmon, very good value I thought. My son thoroughly enjoyed his breakfast, quality ingredients. Warm, professional and attentive staff, we will definitely be returning.

Visited the garden centre some time ago and it was disappointing. We were looking for somewhere other than our normal haunts to breakfast and found this cafe within the garden centres buildings. I have to say that the 'garden Center ' Is much improved with fabulous furniture section at the entrance, worth going just for that. 3 breakfasts ordered in the maple leaf cafe at the rear of the building, very nice light airy surrounding, very pleasant staff, and very good coffee. Breakfast was very good with one massive exception, poached eggs should be runny and not hard boiled; spoilt an otherwise good meal. Paid my bill, wasn't asked wether we enjoyed the breakfastSo that was that, the devil as they say is in the detail, and no we didn't eat our boiled eggs.

I think BonBons gets forgotten about on Friday evenings but it’s one I’ll put on my list in future. Lovely seating area at the front, the 3 for £10 drinks offer is brilliant - branded spirits and tonics. We even had a few olive and cheese nibbles thrown in - a nice little touch! Staff always friendly and welcoming! A hidden little Friday night gem!!

Mystery Tea House, 100s of teas to choose from and try. I went for the Himalayan Adventure black tea. Served with lemon and honey, in a lively teapot and handleless cup. What a treat! I also had a vegan wrap served with a huge salad and pot of hummus. It was delicious! Im definately going back to sample more food and unusual teas! Highly recommended!

Went here for a quick lunch. The menu is a mix of lunchtime standards - jacket spuds , sandwiches and more interesting meals which include eggs doable or smashed avocado. They also have regular specials. It may sound sad but the highlight of my visit was a teapot that didn't drip and lovely mismatched bone China crockery. The service was good and the prices about average for the area. The most important thing for me was their willingness to cater for my food intolerance.
