We didnât get to read all the reviews before walking in. The second the door opened I was hit with the smell of cigarette smoke. I almost turned right around to leave but we were greeted immediately and asked if we wanted smoking or non. There were about 10 people in the smoking room so it was pretty nasty smelling in there. Iâm grateful there was a non smoking room. (Which is to the right of the porch if you want to go straight to the non smoking room). Iâm grateful because it was a nice, yet somewhat rundown place. The restroom was also the laundry room and the toilet needed a good scrubbing! But the service and food were good. We both had the burger and my husband said it was the best burger heâs had. The fries are just regular frozen type fries and we asked if the onion rings were hand breaded or frozen. They are frozen. We looked on the daily specials board and saw they had chocolate meringue pie. We ordered a piece but were told they were out. I did notice the soft drinks were brought out in cans so Iâm guessing if you want refills that could add up quick. All in all it was an ok place. It could use a paint job and definitely a good scrubbing in the restroom but the food and service are good and thatâs what we were hoping for.

Patsy's is only open during the week, Monday - Friday, and they are only open for breakfast and lunch. The food is served buffet-style. Meat loaf, fried chicken, chicken fried steak, chicken breasts, and your basic veggies--green peas (canned), corn (canned), green beans (canned), mashed potatoes (instant), etc. The food is okay and the prices are actually pretty good. Desserts appear to be made there. They are good and reasonably priced. Not a bad place to stop for a quick weekday lunch.

I thought all basic waffles were the same. But these are higher level. My favorite diner in county. Awesome staff knows their regulars. Just steer clear of limp french fries and some lunch choices that are frozen vs fresh. Breakfast is rarely short of perfect.

A quaint cafe where you can get fresh salads, sandwiches from in house cooked and hand carved meat, specialty entrees and appetizers. We also offer homemade pies, cake, and cheesecake.

First time here and it was really great. The staff was nice and the restaurant was clean and quaint. We really enjoyed the decor and ambiance. The food was impressive. We had a large party and not one person was disappointed in what they got. Everything tasted great. I really enjoyed the queso and chips for an appetizer and the Broccoli cheese soup. I also had the wedge salad and found that to my liking as well. I sampled others in my family's food and the hamburger was good, and the fresh cut french fries were excellent! In fact, on the menu, there's multiple choices for the fries where you could easily make a meal of them. I would love to try to in the future. We passed our compliment to chef for all the food. If you're in Sherman and want a nice eatery that's off the beaten trail/highway, come to this place.
