There are bars on almost every corner in Italy, but this one is not to be missed. It's sparkling clean, contemporary-styled, and has an incredible selection of pastries. It opens every morning at 3:00 a.m. I arrived at 6:30 for a cappuccino and spent the next half an hour watching Sandro and Francesca (the owners) greeting customers and bringing out more and more pastries. They also serve sandwiches, gelato and frozen yogurt in the afternoon. Buonissimo!

This place has changed hands a couple of time but has finally landed in the right ones. With a fresh and honestly refreshing restyled venue, delicious stuff (both sweet and salty), nice owners and staff and a central position, this place is my go-to when I go to Porto San Giorgio. The aperitivo is 6 â¬, the coffee&Co like the rest of the local bars.And they speak English.
