Things to do in Port Talbot
"The Diner" is actually part of Sue's Pantry next door. It has the Top score in food hygiene rating;http://ratings.food.gov.uk/business/en-GB/122243/The-Diner-NeathIt's a tiny cramped little cafe which is usually always near full, (maximum capacity is 14 diners). Also takeway snacks / meals.Fayre includes; Full cooked breakfasts. Toasted sandwiches & other snacks. Home baked savoury pies, Cawl, (Welsh lamb stew), Faggots, peas & chips / mash, etc. Selection of deserts. Tea / Coffee.Food is usually really good and prices are keen.Staff are pleasant & friendly. My only real criticism is that they have cheap domestic microwaves rather than full-on catering kit so it takes forever to heat up the food and it's often still cold in the centre.
We are a small side street cafe on the corner of traffic lights at Victoria road, formally known as the old post office to locals, we ha e obtained parking during our opening hours 8.30-3pm monday to saturday and 12.15-3pm on a sunday, at the rear of our
Attended Woodys Cafe today. Fantastic food, fantastic prices and a fantastic welcome! Very friendly Staff. Definitley will be back
This is a little gem of a café with all home made food. The prices are very reasonable and the food is to die for. I had cheese and potato pie that was probably the best I have ever had other than the wife's . The wife had homemade corned beef pie and that was very good. the café is family run and nothing is to much for the staff.
Called in with my husband for breakfast it was honestly the best breakfast Iâve ever had in a cafe all the food was of good quality and cooked to perfection and not covered in grease and they use real butter on the toast!! that is hard to find in a cafe you usually get your toast served with some sort of plastic kind of spread and the staff were very friendly will 100% be calling again

Traditional welsh cafe, seating for 60 upstairs and downstairs, all meals produced on the premesis, high food hygiene record.Variety of meals prepared daily, we are renowned for our cooked dinners, corned beef pasty, steak pie amongst other best sellers.W
Nice and homely, clean and cosy cafe, which does tasty home cooked meals & snacks. My favourite is the Veg Dinner, because I especially enjoy the stuffing and gravy!Seating available upstairs & outside. My only gripe is that I would like to see tap water available not just bottled. Otherwise it is a good place to eat centrally located with modest prices. Thank you for a lovely review we try hard to please everyone, as to tap water it's a tricky subject, we are not liscensed therefore not obliged to give free tap water, also commercial water meters charge 3 times as much as domestic meters. The drinking water tap is 2 kitchens away from the counter it's not always possible to fetch it especially if there's a que, we are also not allowed to store tap water behind the counter due to enviromental health guidelines.

I have tried the Sunday lunch today after hearing great things, what can I say other than I was not disappointed, The welcome you receive when first arriving. Marco the owner comes to take your order and itâs not long before your food is on the table. The food was piping hot, and the beef was like butter, very tasty, the selection of vegetables was amazing seven different to chose from. Homemade roast potatoes the best Iâve ever tasted. And the gem of any dinner is the gravy and was faultless. Sonia cooked the dinner to perfection. I would recommend the Sunday to anyone and will be coming back next week, Iâve tried lots of places and they have fallen short of the mark. I can truly say that Tambinis is a hidden gem in margam Port Talbot. Give them a try if like me you wonât be disappointed. Well done and thanks again 5 stars âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

Have visited many times and have always found staff exceptionally friendly and food very wholesome. No difference on this occasion, with excellent with omelette and home made rice pudding. What I was disappointed with was being charged 45p for a small pot of jam to go with the rice.Come on guys, it should have been free, £1.90 for the pudding should cover the costs. But to then charge 45p - daylight robbery!
Visited for the first time today. Clean comfortable looking. Nice big tables, and tables with sofas for relaxing on. Breakfast served till 11.30.Went for lunch. Lots of chicken on the menu. No grill menu.Plenty to offer for vegetariansOrdered the home made tuna fish cakes. Another of my company ordered chickenburger. While the other friend ordered the jkt potato with home made coronation chicken filling.Everything was freshly prepared and really nicely presented.Best fish cakes I have ever tasted.my friends enjoyed their food too.Not expensive. An old school chum and myself travel South Wales for breakfast most weeks. The Pop In was our 243rd!They provide a selection of breakfasts we both had the Regular with egg, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, black pudding, beans, toast and a large mug of milky coffee £4.55. The staff were very obliging and friendly. We stayed for 2 hours chatting and there was no pressure to buy more. We did however have another coffee as the price, one milky one black coffee only came to £1.85!Recommended

This is a classic workman's cafe on an industrial estate. The diners mostly appear to be regulars but everyone seems to get a warm welcome. Service is quick and the large breakfast is just that.. Well cooked and very enjoyable. The black pudding was cooked to perfection. There is plenty of free parking. A good place to know
