A lovely tea room and excellent tea and scones. Some people may find the stairs a bit steep but thatâs all part of the charm. Thoroughly recommended. Looking forward to going back for more.

Post code PE7 3LD. New restaurant opened on Sept 10 2011 Specialise in homemade cakes and scones Afternoon Tea Large groups catered for in our function room
Visited Sophie T's for my husbands birthday and it was amazing. Very friendly service. We ordered several things which we asked to be brought out together and it all arrived promptly, very well presented and as requested. All food was delicious, I particularly enjoyed the eggs benedict and the cream tea and my husbands favourite was the jacket potato with cheese and beans. The café decoration is beautiful and so lovely to be set in the 40's era. Upstairs there are some lovely items to look at and buy, at very reasonable prices. We loved the table settings, embroidered table cloths with vintage crockery/cutlery, it brought back so many memories from our pasts. Especially liked the tea cosy as well, haven't seen so many of these in ages. And it was lovely to see that the tables were nicely spaced, there was plenty of room and it didn't feel like people were on top of you, which is rare these days. Nice gentle and appropriate 40's music in the background topped off the experience. Food is very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. All the cakes and scones look so nice and home made. All in all we will definitely be back as this is by far the best tearoom in the area.

We both chose sandwiches for our lunch and they really were amazing - very fresh bread, stuffed with filling, plus delicious salad and some crisps. We were too full for cake but it looked very appetising. Staff were lovely, service was fast.Thank you Karen for your comments, yes all our sandwiches are made fresh to order. We will pass on your praise to our team and look forward to seeing you again.

We have eaten here twice now at the 2 pop up restaurants in Peterborough. The food has always been cooked well, beautifully presented and really tasty. We were the first customers to try the munch box which was delicious (but very large) They don't stint on portions here. Staff are friendly and welcoming. We hope they find a permanent home soon.
