Great little restaurant. The outside and inside are very cute. The service was very pleasant and the food was awesome. My wife had a salmon, poached egg, avocado, pine nuts, pomegranate seeds, etc on bread. It was very different and tasted great. I have a Thai salmon burger with potato wedges. It was very tasty with great textures, and quite spicy. I absolutely loved it. My only two somewhat negative comments would be that we waited a bit for them to take our order upstairs, so ended up going down to put in our order. The other is that the drink prices are a bit on the spendy side and do not align to the quite reasonable prices for the food. I would highly recommend this place and intend to go back.

We stumbled across this restaurant by accident and thought it looked interesting. It doesn't serve alcohol but that was made up for by the selection of interesting drinks, my favourite being the Grease Monkey - a peanut butter and banana milkshake. It mainly serves steaks and burgers. We visited twice as the first experience was so impressive that we had to go again. Both times we had steaks which were cooked to perfection. They were absolutely delicious and the accompanying vegetables were also well cooked and presented. Both visits were a real treat and I would hesitate to visit again. If you are in Johor I highly recommend it as they were the best two meals we had in our 12 night stay.

As The Replacement gets good reviews online, perhaps it was the high expectations that caused me to feel disappointed after eating here. We had brunch on Saturday morning and, while the service was good, the food was only average (in my opinion) and the coffee was not spectacular. The coffee I ended up getting was RM 18, which is actually quite expensive for coffee in JB. Notwithstanding the price, the coffee was nothing special and was also cold when it arrived.
This is a traditional Hainanese Kopitiam(cafe) though the interior ambience is modern & clean. I come to this place most mornings for breakfast & I find that they have a broad range of food choices to choose from. Mostly local food. Service is good and food is served promptly. Price is reasonable. As itâs food is catered mainly for local taste buds...avoid the curry/spicy food if u canât handle anything spicier than Kurma curry.
Dining in Johor Bahru reaches new heights at Chocolate Cake Company, offering an array of delicate pastries, delicious cakes, sandwiches, handcrafted bread and pies baked daily to perfection. Stop by for a midday snack or to celebrate special occasions
From the lobby I can see very nice view of the new TCCC and it look so amazing. All the variety of cakes and breads make me want to try some of them, and the taste is there. Thanks to the hotel that come out with the new idea..Dear Hafiz Y,We're glad you both noticed and smelt the fresh breads being baked which brings up the senses experience through out the day.Further upgrading is in the plans including a sandwich bar with fresh salads to go for a quick snack for those busy folks.Looking forward to having you again.Best culinary RegardsMahady / Executive Chef - REN/JB

This cafe is indeed a hidden jem.they serve great coffee, delicious cakes and other hot meals.Strongly recommend to try out their CoCo with green tea ice sphere.Hot rich coco pour over a green tea infused ice sphere.this allow the aroma of the green tea to blend with the hot coco, this is an awesome combination for a nice afternoon. a sense of freshness. If you are a coffee Lover, try their coffee jelly.warm milk pour over expresso infused iced cubes and the nice Q coffee jellies!!As the coffee ice cubes melts, it blend perfectly with the milk and jelly... an awesome taste with a hint of munch. As for cake, i would recommend you to try their coconut mango cakes. the fresh cream made with coconut with the combination of mango work heavenly together. every bite will give you a sense of summer by the beach.A place that is worth trying and i will definitely visit it again!
