A ` Back to Bistro` relaxed bar and eatery. Great Cornish breakfasts, Local dishes by day and light bites and Tapas influences on `Feast evening` events
I was supporting a woman with learning difficulties on day our on St Austell and having walked past several closed shops we happened upon this place and decided to give it a go. I was really impressed with the menu and the service. The waitress was really patient and kind with the person I was supporting. The place was clean and inviting. There was plenty of space between tables and we were able to safety park a shopping trolley. We had two lovely lunches with drinks for £10 each. I was pleased with my vegan meal which was a platter including nuts, olives, roasted veggies, salad, hummus, flatbread, garnished with endive and pomegranate. Lovely and fresh. Nicely presented. I will head back there next time I'm in St Austell

Stumbled across this cafe on our first visit to Fowey today. A bit of a squeeze to fit five of us and a dog on the terrace at the front, but it was no problem, and we had a bit of a view of the river too. Very friendly and efficient staff, gorgeous Bakewell tart, delicious cheese scones, lovely coffees and hot chocolate - all our party were very happy with their choices. Would definitely recommend!

Came on a sunny Saturday evening for a look and a bite to eat. Can safely say I wasnât disappointed. Was a regular at the beach growing up so knew it was a nice location. Great tunes, tasty food and very friendly staff, helped by a lovely Cornish summers evening. Definitely going again when Iâm in the area.

You really have to squeeze in here as a tiny, quaint Cornish building. It really was worth the squeeze though. The best breakfasts are always made with quality ingredients and this was hugely apparent here- great sausages (Kittows) great bacon, great bread, all absolutely wonderful. Will be back

This bustling cafe at the Eden Project brings to life the world of baking as our chefs create mouth-watering dishes right in front of your eyes.
Good selection of world foods, cooked on site using locally sourced produce as well of produce grown on site. Reasonably priced with a quick turnaround in the queues. Really happy with choice as vegetarians.

The best Tearooms in Fowey. Ask Nigella Lawson she goes there.
We absolutely loved our afternoon tea at The Dwelling House (first week of September). It was a rainy afternoon and we traipsed around looking for GF offerings in Fowey only to stumble on this MEGA GEM of a tea shop with serious GF thoughtfulness! Honestly it can be so tricky sometimes but here we were made to feel right at home from the second we opened the menu - lots of options for us not just 1 thing. We had gluten free crab sandwiches and both had GF scone cream tea (the dream) but equally could have easily ordered lots of other yummy options. The setting is perfect, like sitting in a grand old lady's sitting room! Thanks again!

Have been here quite a few time before, one of the best places around here for cooked breakfast & lunchâs. Freshly cooked food, great tasting, friendly staff. Good selection on the breakfast & lunch menu, good size portions. Well worth a visit.

Ramshackle Rosie is our little cafe started in September 2016, offering all day breakfasts while listening to some classic rock
What a fantastic breakfast. Just loved the service and the food. Great selection of different breakfasts all with Toast, Juice and Hot Drink included. I had Bubble and Squeak with Eggs, Bacon, and Mushroom. The other three had small, large and medium breakfasts - all great. The decor is fab .... almost as good as the food.Wish we lived closer!

After a wander round the village and quayside and museum, we were feeling peckish having driven past Charlieâs we decided to go back up the road and try it out. We each had panini min with mozzarella, bacon and sun blush tomatoes, my wife goats cheese and sun blush to,stones. Both were excellent. One double espresso and a cup of tea with the bill at £16. Well worth it. Great ambience and well served.Thank you for the lovely feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your visit to us at Charlie's and look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

Busy, vibrant coffee shop with more. Very good coffee and delicious Chelsea bun with salted caramel - not too sweet, thanks to the lovely bun. Newly opened upstairs provides lots of reading areas and casual seating with a deliberately modern, bright, homely feel. Pity I wasn't in Cornwall longer. I would definitely return - frequently.
