After all the reviews on here was expecting much better. Visited on a Monday lunch with friends. Average sandwiches, very expensive for two pieces of bread and a filling. Music too loud. Draught coming from open door to outside eating area. Service quite slow

We have as a family been visiting Corner Cafe for many years, I can honestly say it is one of the best value cafes around, wether you go for breakfast, lunch, fresh soup, or homemade cakes you won't be disappointed. Jane and her wicked sense of humour add to the ambience and the price makes it affordable to all, and it's fully family friendly.

The Pavillion offers a haven where visitors can relax, secluded from the hustle and bustle of shopping. The restaurant offers an extensive selection of homemade daily specials & firm favourites such as fish & chips and steak pudding as well as lighter sna
Called in a couple of weeks ago with my wife whilst shopping at the mill, was going to have a pub lunch but decided to give the "in house" restaurant a try, firstly the person who took our order wasn't particularly welcoming and when the food finally arrived it was mixed feelings. My wife had quiche which she said was good but I had the fish & chips which was rather unpleasant, the fish was yellow, totally tasteless and encased in thick dark batter which was over-cooked on the outside & slimy in the middle. the chips & peas were OK. I should have returned it but I didn't expect to get a result having seen the indifference displayed at the counter & my wife cannot bear confrontation issues in spite of the fact that I am particularly fair & diplomatic with people. - needless to say won't be using that venue again.I am realy sorry that you felt unable to speak to one of use today about you fish as we would have prefered to either offer you something else or given you your mey back we never want anyone to leave unhappy we unfortunatly dont have the facility to do our our fish so it is one of the few things we buy in frozen and so i will be checking the quality and looking in to this mater more. I am glad your wife enjoyed our quiche this is made each day instore as are most of our dishes please give us another try and do let us know if we can do anything to make your visit a better one

I have visited the tea rooms on a number of occasions and as my mum was visiting for the weekend I booked afternoon tea using a Groupon voucher. We arrived early which didnât appear to be a problem and we were promptly seated. We had our Prosecco and then our tea and food arrived. Although at first sight it didnât look enormous we were stuffed by the end of it so it was just right. Thank you.

Went with family on a Saturday. Was a last minute booking. Very welcoming considering lunch time on Saturday as well. I ordered a beef baguette with salad. Plenty of healthy stuff. Beef nicely cooked to combined well with crispy baguette. All arrived quickly.

Situated on the mezzanine floor of Oswaldtwistle Mills, Cafe Nova offers a wide array of food and beverages in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere.
Visiting the Oswaldtwistle Mills we came upon the Cafe Nova and decided to take lunch. There's plenty of seating in the 1st floor location. I had the Panini and Chips special, she had a Tuna Mayo sandwich, both washed down with Americanos. They were all served promptly and pleasantly so we had no complaint whatsoever.

Following lunch in the Pavillion restaurant which was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful we had a shop. We decided to stop for cafe and coffee before we headed home. The Terrace had just had an afternoon tea event but it was over. I went in and asked if they were open and had my head bitten off as I was told "Only for drink! The kitchens closed." I asked if cakes were available and told yes. I then was barked at the I could only sit a 2 very squashed together tables even though the whole tea room was empty. You may have been busy but this isn't the way to keep customers, we left and stopped off at a Costa on the way home I stead.

Cafe/Restaurant serving freshly cooked breakfasts and homemade lunches. Hot and cold beverages Friendly, excellent value for money. Nothing is too much trouble.
Given all the good reviews i had high expectations..The staff were great, friendly, attentive.Hot drinks couldnât faultThe food was bland and tasteless, I had meat pie, it wasnât seasoned and was very boring. Partner had a breakfast which he wasnât impressed with either.Lots of other places to try out for breakfast/lunch so wonât revisit here Iâm afraid.
