A new twist on British tradition, Union Tea Cafe offers breakfast items served all day, such as gourmet Belgium waffles, quiche and Hashbrown Bake. Homemade soups featuring Creamy Vegan Tomato and She-Crab daily. Grilled sandwiches such as the Union Stree
Quaint town of Olean! Must be at least 3-4 roundabouts up the middle of main street. This little cafe is on a corner, has inside and outside seating. Loved the vegetarian and vegan options for lunch. Serve Breakfast and lunch--soup, salad's, sandwiches and dessert. Many people walking, jogging and biking. They have over 100 blends of tea. Ice tea choice: black, white or green! If I lived in this area, this would be a place I would frequent often!
We lucked out finding this place during our stay in Olean. This choice came via recommendation from a local couple I talked to about good pizza places. What a great choice! This is wood fired, stone oven, absolutely delicious pizza. It was delivered hot. Oh, and it was delicious!! Great pizza, great price, quick delivery!.....all adds up to two thumbs up!
This place is clean, modern and fun. Frozen yogurt is really good, many flavored to choose from and they switch them regularly. Many different toppings to choose from. That being said, it is expensive. I believe it is .49 per ounce. Bring three kids that like to load up the toppings and you better bring your checkbook. The first time I went, I literally had to get out a credit card because I didn't bring enough cash (I had a $20), but I think that's pretty standard for this type of place. I only gave it average rating because the staff is hit or miss. Usually they are great, but I went in this past weekend and couldn't believe how rude the girl was. She had her entourage of friends in there talking to her at the register. Meanwhile, I am waiting to pay while my fro yo is rapidly melting. When they finally moved so I could pay, she didn't even stop talking to address me, rang it up and still didn't eve. Make eye contact. I had to actually ask her how much I owed then she was rude and said the amount. I paid and the whole time she still kept talking to her friends. Never thanked me, nothing. And the owner was standing right behind her. So I probably wouldn't go back just because of that rude service.
