This hole in the wall on the main pedestrian strip leading to the Old Town in Ohrid does smoothies, protein shakes and more, including a range of 'healthy snacks' among which you'll find cakes by the slice. Bear in mind that while the names might suggest otherwise, even something calling itself 'Nutella cheesecake' is not particularly sweet. Somewhat indifferent service adds to the impression that the place is aiming high but shooting low.Hey there phutty, thank you for taking the time to write this review! Did you try out drinks, if yes, how were they? About the snacks and the cakes by the slice, I hope you noticed the sign that says all our cakes and energy balls are all raw and vegan, so we don't use sugar or anything artificial. Thank you for pointing some stuff out and we hope that you wlll a better experince at Fruit Box the next time you visit us, cheers!

They really do have very nice waffles, they do not save on Nutella so that was great, full chocolate experience. However, there is a snag on it and it is that in the English menu, the waffles and other desserts are not listed. I did not understand why, they have an English menu but the sweet stuff are not there! I asked the waiter and they brought me the macedonian menu so I could take a look. So do not be confused when you do not find the waffles in the menu. :)

It started with a bad cup of coffee at our residence. We previously bought some 3in1 instant coffee not realizing that two of the ingredients were sugar and milk (I know, not very clever). Thus, we wanted a decent cup of coffee and started to browse TripAdvisor for a place to goThe VAULT popped up, so we went there.The place is very stylish. Maybe a tiny bit kitschy but there was a nice atmosphere. We sat outside and started browsing the menu. And that took some time! The selection is considerable. So instead of regular coffee we had a coconut cream pie iced latte (you read it right) and a virgin raspberry mojito. They were both very fresh and tasty.Inside there was a nice selection of tasty looking cakes. How to handle this? The answer was of course to come back later the same day.Consequently, we have just finished three cakes (a macaron tower, a chocolate cake, and a panacota). The first was very good. Crisp and with fresh berries. The chocolate cake (with white chocolate on top) was quite ok, while the latter was too hard for a panacota and just tasted sweet. As drinks we had an ice coffee and a ice coffee with syrup. They were both quite good and as expected.The service is the reason for the fourth star! The young men serving are very polite, swift in their response, and creates a nice âcoolâ atmosphere.
