Always enjoy this cafe/bistro. This trip wife had quische of the day which was ham and cheese with fruit cup and biscuits. I had the three egg omlet with 4 ingredients. Plus hash browns and English muffins. All very hot and tasty. Friendly staff. Quick service and great value. Will be back!

Stopped in for the perfect fall breakfast, pumpkin pancakes, and an egg sandwich. Pancakes were nicely spiced but not overpowering and topped off delectably with real maple syrup. Yes, it's completely worth the $1.50 upcharge for the real thing. Egg Sandwich was creamy and set off by crunchy bacon and crisp greens. The avocado and just a hint of lemon were the perfect note to highlight the flavors. So yummy!

There is something about breakfast in Texas, they know how to do it right. Joe's is a typical local nothing fancy place that the locals flock too. The staff are all friendly and attentive. We even got to experience the waitress who is famous for singing happy birthday in a high pitch screech, she was great. Don't expect anything fancy here, simple decor, dishes and silverware. What you will get here is just plain amazing breakfast food. Eggs, pancakes, waffles, Kansas city hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy...the list goes on. Everything we ordered was just delicious. Absolutely no complaints and when we come back at Christmas you can bet we will be eating here again.

This place is synonymous with just one word; expensive. And, that isn't justified with remarkable food or service.I stepped in there for a first visit at opening on a Sunday morning. I stood there waiting to be seated about 5 minutes before the grill operator finally comes out of the kitchen and gives me a menu. Didn't bother to ask if I wanted a cup of coffee. I sat down and waited another 5 minutes before a table server finally shows up. He then went and got me a cup of coffee.I ordered two scrambled eggs, bacon, and I wanted a waffle. Their menu does not offer such a combo and it was only available ala carte. He sold me another breakfast combo that comes with pancakes and added the waffle to it, but didn't serve the pancakes, or give any credit either one. I asked that they soften the butter enough it would spread, which they almost did. When the food arrived the butter wasn't ready, letting my waffle get cold while they fooled around trying to melt butter with a heat lamp. The waffle recipe itself needs some serious help as it was about as dense as eating a slice of dictionary. The maple syrup was lukewarm and while served with almost-spreadable butter was almost acceptable. But, that waffle batter tasted like it was made from corn starch, masa harina, or plain old Portland cement. When I got the bill, breakfast for one with coffee and tip was $19.19, which is outrageous. Just around the corner at the national brand it's about half that for the same breakfast. I'm sure not willing to pay that much for breakfast on an ongoing basis. This place is young, and it will be interesting to see if they survive with prices like that. The food is acceptable with the exception of that waffle, but the prices are out of this world. No, I don't recommend them because there are much better values within half a mile. I won't be back unless someone wants to take me out to eat there. Their server, Chris, was really nice even though totally missing for the first 10 minutes of the visit. They have a lot of non-conventional menu offerings

We have needed a good breakfast/brunch place in the NE Tarrant County area and Starwood Cafe fills the bill. This cheery place is located near major big box stores so it's convenient to visit. The menu of breakfast and lunch items is quite full. The extra nice thing is the restaurant is accommodating to requests. For example, a favorite former restaurant had a mushroom omelet that came with Hollandaise. Starwood's version was upgraded with a side of the sauce by my request. YUM! They have fresh squeezed orange juice - you can watch it being done. This restaurant is family-owned, connected to ones in Lewisville and Frisco. They've got the process figured out!
