I love aroma of coffee in cafes, hence on a rainy or cool winter day or night nothing beats hot coffee mug with your favourite walnut brownie or carrot cake at coffee planet I-8 markaz, staff is courteous, prices are cheaper than Gloria Jeans coffee brand, but quality is equally good, ample space on ground floor and basement, cappuccino and Latte' are more in demand though dark coffee or bitter coffee is also equally good but for strong hearted ones, a definite plus from parking point of view as compared to Gloria Jeans few yards away which is complete mess.

We were told that Sattar Bauksh is the Pakistani blend of Star Bucks, the famous US coffee shop. Located between Howdy and Sarai Bistro which are Western / Italian style restaurants, Sattar Baksh has an absolutely local outlook and to say the least, it's quite impressive. On entrance, one comes across a unique ambiance and a very thoughtfully organised decor reflecting Pakistani culture as well as history in a very effective way. It's hard to overlook the decor and pass by without taking a snap or two. Indeed an artistically conceived interior. They have a nice outdoor seating arrangement too which is good enough in summer. However, we weren't there to take photos of the lovely interior only and wanted to have a nice cup of coffee with some snacks too. At the entrance we asked the waiter about the availability of good coffee and he remarked that we will get the best coffee in the town in Sattar Baksh. We soon realised that their idea of the best coffee was absolutely misconceived. What we were served was not a brewed coffee but a spoon of instant coffee powder mixed in hot water. It was a big disappointment and when we asked the waiter about the brewed coffee, he had no idea what it is and kept insisting that what he is serving is the best we can get. Instead of arguing more with the waiter what a properly brewed cup of coffee is, we salvaged ourselves by ordering black tea and Kashmiri tea. Both were of quite well prepared but the serving took quite some time. Not very impressed...... I wonder I would go there again when there are so many better options available. To see the unique decor though, one visit to the place is a must.

This is a passion project of the owners, Numair and Bilal, and that is reflected from everything. The attention to details is splendid. "Its a fine dining experience in a tiny café", as described by the co-owner, Numair. The owners are so involved in the operations from selecting and hand picking the meat to cooking it in the kitchen. The recipes are proprietary and unique. The burgers are by far the best you will have. I have also had the Filet Mignon steak which was highly recommended by the owners and comes with a delicious creamy spinach dip. Please be prepared that the portion will be small and if you want something more filling, prefer the Tomahawk steak which I intend to have the next time. But as a first timer, go for the chicken or the beef burger without hesitation. To do a chicken burger this good is exemplary. The space in the café is very little so please reserve in advance.
This restaurant has great ambiance and even better service. The decor is glitzy and impressive. Sadly, this is where the positives end. Just as most restaurants in Islamabad go, this one was no different. They'd invest heavily into making the place as comfortable and classy as possible - but the food is below par. The food that we tried at District 6 tasted average(at best). Just remembering that soupy pasta dish makes me want to barf! They do label themselves as 'fine dining', and the plating(presentation of food) does indeed reflect that. But that's the only FINE thing about their food. What a waste of time and money, eating something that looks so pretty, yet tastes SO average.

Good ambiance, good service and nice food. Rates are quite reasonable and there are no taxes. However, if you are a heavy eater than you might need a second serving as the quantity they server is on the lesser side. Overall a good experience.

Staff were very helpful and proficient. We were a large group of family members and had phoned for a reservation. They ensured we got seating for the same evening. The food was amazing especially the steaks. Very filling meals.

The idea for Chaaye Khana was born from our love of tea. A cup of doodh patti in the evening, the Peshawari Kehwa after dinner, and of course, the morning cup of special tea to wake us up. This is what our culture is about, this is the benchmark of our ho
I must say that ambience is nice but dont expect great food and super service. Their server are untrained and food is OK. We ordered 3 eggs mexican omelette which was just plain with capsicum. The other dish was savouryz crepe which was filled with running cream and scrambled eggs. However if they improve on above both fronts then they can do good business as prices are reasonable.
I have been to Lintotts hundreds of times since my teenage. Specially, the tea or coffe in a cold winter night. Lintotts is not a cafe its just an addiction.
