Fabulous Cafe serving fresh food, all made on the premises. We offer up a daily changing variety of goods Former Victorian Bowling Pavilion which has been converted into a sympathetic café set in lovely gardens. Dog area.. Fresh Friendly Fabulous
What a lovely little place. In order to break up our day doing the sights around Montrose we visited the Pavilion Cafe. We fancied some proper food, not the standard fair as found in some of the other local outlets, my goodness, we were not disappointed; a chicken, bacon and avocado sandwich, 2 omelettes, a potatoes soup and a Panzanella salad. All of this was delicious homemade food. The setting is also very nice; an old, well kept/restored pavilion turned into a cafe (hence the name, I guess), on a bowling green in a leafy area of town. It seats around 20 with a few picnic tables outside. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the high street and at the time of our visit there was ample parking. So, if you want proper home made food in a quiet area of town with a lovely atmosphere, come here. So happy with your lovely review, thank you so much for taking time to post.Reviews like yours really help my little independent café in a difficult market.

The coffee and food here is as good as any Costa Coffee and I popped in for a carry out of coffee and tray bakes which were both very good. Service was excellent and the fact that there is plenty parking is a bonus.

This store is run at a fine leisurely pace and the staff make you feel welcome whenever you visit. The cafe is also worth a visit. There are a huge selection of beveages and dishes to enjoy too. It is not a normal faceless supermarket and a credit to its management.

I had the mac & cheese which was rich and creamy. I could tell it was fresh. Service was good and polite. The inside is like an old farm Manor House with a big table for people to sit at and smaller tables next door. There is a shop with lists of gifts and produce available.
