We were regular customers but BEWARE! I was overcharged by $50. on Sunday. The manager called me late in the evening to discuss which I found disrespectful. Christine the manager/ owner was combative with me blaming my bank not her employees. She took no accountability and was rude. We both obviously have the receipt and know of the error, however she did nothing about it. She could have easily just credited me and been done with the matter. Bad business. Very sneaky overcharging so be careful. Check your bank statements!

We went in the other day to pick up some sides to go with a soup we purchased elsewhere. The menu looks quite impressive, with some very interesting breakfast choices. The inside decor is charming.

Local fare with French flair. Naturally leavened breads, viennoiseries and pâtisseries in the heart of Montclair, NJ.
Where else in Montclair can you take French people and not have them complain?? Here! We enjoyed the sandwiches, macarons (amazing!) and great espresso. They also have some specialty French foods for sale (like my favorite mustard!) Don't miss the almond croissants either...heavenly.

We tried this place for Sunday lunch because we heard their crepes were very good. While we really liked our food, we were disappointed with the slow service. It's also good that we brought cash because they don't take credit cards. They offer a wide selection of crepes and sandwiches for such a little place. We really liked the crepes we ordered which included the smoked salmon, goat cheese, onion, tomato, pesto crepe and the Nutella crepe. It wasn't too busy when we visited, so I was surprised that our service was slow. We waited a while for our food and then again when we asked for our check. Not a big deal since we enjoyed the company we were with, but if their service was a good as their crepes then I would have given them 5 stars.

Went in to a last minute brunch with my family (9 total) on Sunday. A little bit of wait, but expected with a large group. The waiter was accommodating in that we were in two booths with different wait staff but ensured we got one check. He thoroughly explained our options to order custom dishes and was patient with my 81 year old mother who was unsure of her dish preference. Food was very good. My brother lives 2 blocks away, so Iâm pretty sure we will be back again. Thank you for the great service!

Montclair is known for its restaurants and The Corner holds its own against some stiff competition. Excellent baked eggs (kind of huevos rancheros-y), avocado toast (I toast the millennials for making this A Thing), chicken sausage, pastries, fresh juices. On top of that, great vibe and excellent service. Often crowded, but worth the wait and tables turn over fairly quickly. I have not been for lunch yet but plan to go back soon for that experience. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful and there are plenty of choices for picky eaters, foodies, vegans/vegetarians, gluten free folks, and piggies like me that eat it all.

We are a Bakery/Restaurant serving fresh baked items as well as breakfast, lunch, dinner. We are open Tuesday through Sunday and we serve dinner every Friday & Saturday 5-9 pm. BYOB You can see all our menus on our website at Anthony's Cheesecake.
Anthony's Cheesecake is a cozy little restaurant on Washington St. In Bloomfield. The Entrees and appetizers are what you could call creative. They served "Irish Nachos" on St. Patrick's day. On other days they will have dishes that are a flair up and above the usual fare. Anthony and his staff are very personable. This is becoming a Bloomfield Institution. BYOB but they take good care of you. There is parking in a lot just a few feet around the corner. Easy to get to.
