Stopped for lunch at the Barn and was delighted by both the friendliness of service, including from the owners - Sharon and Kenny - and the quality of the food. The Butter Chicken was mouthwateringly excellent and my husband was very pleased with his burger. Unusual and good selection of wine, including by the glass, and excellent ambiance. Well worth the visit and definitely worth further visits. What a great review! Thank you so much. We always try and speak to all our guest, not just to hear how their food is, but also to hear where they are from, what brings them to town, and where they are going. Establishing a personal connection is what makes a persons experience memorable. We had a drink and later on a lovely lunch at The Rambling Rose, and really enjoyed it there. Everything feels right about it. The food, the people, the drinks, the ambience, the value for money - its just one of those places were you feel really good. Its not fancy, but it doesnt need to be so.We had Bobotie, my mother the normal version with beef, and myself the vegetarian version with lentils and pumpkin. I really love Bobotie, and its quite difficult to get a veggie version of it, so I enjoy every opportunity I get.Dear GuestThank you very much for taking the time to share your wonderful feedback. The most delicious cupcakes in Montagu! Always freshly baked and ready. Enjoy a range of drinks too, like hot chocolate, Espresso, Americano ect. While you wait for your order you can do some birthday or christmas shopping too at affordable prices. Honestly the most friendliest in town too! I LOVE DAINTY DAISY!
