First off, I CALLED them personally regarding my experience before putting in this review. I may have postponed it if I'd gotten a different response. Here is my experience: I ordered Mt Jumbo Veggie Browns at the counter. I was asked about toast options. I gave my preference. I was asked if I wanted bacon or sausage. I said I didn't want either - I just wanted the veggie browns. She rang it up as $9.95. I said that the menu said it was $7.95. She said the prices had increased. Then she said the vegetarian option was more expensive. I said that I would purchase it with bacon then and they could just keep the bacon. She again stressed that was more expensive. I pointed to the veggie browns on the menu - that they looked like they didn't have bacon. She argued, and I cancelled my order. I sat down and had my meeting - where my partner noted she had had a similar experience with her order - both her food and drink orders were wrong. So - I called about 30 minutes later to ask when a manager might be in. The person answering the phone identified herself as shift manager. I told her I was "about to write a poor review" but that I wanted to speak with someone about it first. Here is why the review is still going in: she made ongoing excuses for the person at the counter (she is "new"; she is "still being trained" -- to which I replied, "she needs a mentor, and she needs to ask questions" - then the person on the phone tried to address that perhaps I was ordering the wrong thing ("the Mt Jumbo Veggie Browns are just potatoes and veggies, that's it" - to which I said, "I am aware, that is what I wanted" to which the "shift manager" noted, "well, she probably thought you were ordering something else.") -- the upshot was, she was too busy, exasperated to hear what my experience had been - frequently interrupting me, and then, finally said, "well, I hope you come back so I can give you a coffee and show you we can do it right." I am honestly not sure how she can make it right when she never seemed to understand what was wrong - nor have the time to share with me on the phone that she understood what was wrong. I'm not going back.

Great neighborhood cafe. Fair prices. Burgers, sandwiches, appetizers and cold local draft beer.. free wi-fi and friendly service.
On our way to Idaho we stumbled upon Miller Creek Cafe. It's small, informal & connected to a golf course. I had the dual shrimp plate and my husband had a tuna sandwich. Both were served with fries. Our lunches were delicious, served quickly with a smile. They also have creamy ice cream available for dessert.

Skip this place. Horrible food. Drunks cursing at bar saying they were high on mushrooms. We had children. The meat was cold and the veggies looked like they were months old. Skip this place.I'm sorry about your experience Hugh, That is not a typical occurrence. We have a zero leniency policy for guests using/being high at our location. As you can tell by our reviews on tripadvisor, google and facebook people usually love us. We hope to have you back again. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review.

This is an informal, open and casual cafe fit for a quick snack, but not so good for a full meal. The small round tables lend themselves to intimate (but not private) conversations. Food choices appear on blackboards, including a variety of gelato flavors, espresso choices, and sandwiches, which can be grilled. We had turkey provolone that came with a green salad, others around us had salads alone or other choices. We also had minestrone & split pea-bacon soup with french bread. Food was good, but not extraordinary. If you're at the mall and want some food, check the menu. You might find something you like here.

Friendly service, solid breakfast and lunch fare. Reasonable prices and they give a discount to veterans! A good place to meet friends for casual meals. This is where the locals go, and I do too every time I visit.Thank you for your return visits! It is our pleasure to treat you like family when you are in town.

A Pasty is Cornish in origin and were traditionally carried into the Butte mines and Anaconda Smelter in their lunch pails - often called " a letter from home." They are meat combinations wrapped in pie dough and served like Lisa does with gravy, ketchup or not. A real treat!

My wife and I stopped here for brunch recently. Great venue and plenty of seating. We ordered at the counter and then seated ourselves. Our drinks were brought to us quickly. Our orders took awhile, so unless you are in a hurry expect to wait for awhile before your food arrives. Both of our sandwiches were very good. It was a very nice relaxing time for the two of us. We will return again, we suggest that you try it too.

Migas ok; too heavy on the tortilla chips, eggs too dry, salsa kind of bland (and not enough of it), breakfast burrito also ok (potatoes are a little overkill), fresh avocado at perfect ripeness, decent house-made lemonade; staff are exceptionally nice.

HOURS OF OPERATION Monday-Thursday: 7 am to 9 pm Friday: 7 am to 9pm Saturday: 8 am to 9 pm Sunday: 9 am to 2 pm Coffee Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Sunday Brunch Patio Seating in the warm months!
Came for Sunday brunch, 45 minute wait for a table.. Once seated and order placed, well over an hour for food! We watched multiple tables turnover while we painfully-patiently waited for our food. Finally asked after 45 minutes and was rudely told "it should be out soon.." 10 more minutes asked again and was told they moved our order to the front & should be 20 more minutes! The waitress obviously forgot to put our order in. Manager apologized, sort of.. Comped a couple coffees & a $1 muffin! Food was marginal at best, service horrendous! Much better options in town.

We are a full service restaurant. Opened in 1991 as Montana's first coffee cart, The Catalyst Cafe has grown to become a favorite destination in Missoula for full-plate breakfasts and lunches. Open seven days a week and serving breakfast all day. The Cata
Catalyst is a pleasant little cafe downtown with two-level seating indoors and a limited seating outdoors, on the sidewalk in front of the cafe. It offers lots of food options to choose from, both regular and gluten-free, and an interesting concept of "build your (breakfast) plate." All of the options from build your breakfast menu we chose were very tasty, and the portions were good sized, but not overly large. The house made jam was interesting (mixed berry, I think), and gluten-free toast was great (and we have tasted lots of gluten-free breads in our life). Service was friendly and expeditious, and the atmosphere was pleasant, yet you could sense a bit of an edgy vibe. All in all, we were very pleased with our breakfast at Catalyst.
