Found this by internet search while we were staying at a hotel nearby and came for breakfast. We were not disappointed! This was a superb find. Great breakfast, we really enjoyed our choices, and there were loads of other choices on the menu we would have been happy to try. We don't live near here, but I wish we did, because we could come here more often!

We eat here fairly regularly, cant recommended it highly enough for really personal friendly welcome, delicious freshly made tasty food and amazing prices. Their soup, pizzas, ciabattas, coffee is all absolutely delicious!! Sometimes i like a glass of fresh cold milk rather than a soft drink and the owner remembers every time even if i haven't been for several months, its always nice to go back. Highly recommended.

Look the food is Great nice place to sit but 3 quid for a roll black pudding and egg. Who really thinks thatâs sameTo go.5 quid min to use card for free FYI Im glad you enjoyed your breakfast roll. The cafe is a small family owned business. When you use delivery services there is always fees to be paid and card machines may be free to the customer to use but any business owner knows there are transactions fees to pay to the card machine supplier and the banking supplier. Its a fact of life and not something I can actually apologise for. Its the same when you sit in - prices are always slightly dearer than when you take away as there are overheads to pay.

Have had lunches and coffees here on numerous occasions as local. Always good - staff generally good although they change a bit,Cullen skink excellent. Note that they now have a specials board so tried the chicken and mushroom crepe which had not had before. Lovely with big chunks of chicken in nice sauce. The cake selection is always good as well.Thank you for such a great review - and even though it's only 9.30 in the morning I now know what I am having for lunch - Cullen Skink! Whilst the Teddy Bears hanging from the roof give an"odd" first impression that is fast overcome by the rustic charm and wonderful soups on offer. The Chicken Noodle is to die for. French Onion is superb. Cullen Skink just great. Try the Empire Biscuits with your coffee (all the bakery is excellent!). They should give out a prize for finishing the giant scones. All in all a great cafe and dog friendly too.................

This cafe in Milngavie is a hidden gem. Locals and visitors alike love the fast and friendly service and busy regulars can have their food and drinks "to go"! The signature dish, "Eggs Alba" (poached eggs with smoked salmon and hollandaise sauce) is the best! Try it! You will love it!

Great little friendly Cafe! Everything from naughty delicious cakes, many to choose from! Also offer healthy soups! Lots of thought has gone into decorating this little jem as it's so pretty and cosy! The are also friendly and very helpful. When the weather permits you can sit outside and watch the world go by and enjoying a cuppa or two! Must go back when we are next in Glasgow!
