OMG. This is a very true favorite breakfast restaurant of ours. It has as creative menu, tasty food, and a presentation that will warm your heart. Ricky Sharma has without a doubt a hidden gem on the Ct.shoreline. Weekdays are always the best for quick seating. 5.0

It's a large place with a whole variety of foods, and activities (restaurant, grocery shopping, etc). Very good deli section, soups, salads and great sandwiches. The people are friendly and helpful (which is good, as the system can be a bit confusing). We like it for lunch, and we'll go back.
This was my first time stopping in to the Madison Coffee House. I had this amazing sandwich of avocado, heirloom tomatoes, mozzarella and balsamic on whole grain bread. I took it to go - the smell of this sandwich on my drive back to the office made my tummy growl. I have to say this is one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten! Fresh & yummy, the avocado was the perfect amount of ripe on this grilled sandwich.
Hand made delicious Italian and American desserts, breads and stuff breads, family owned, a bakery offering fresh foods... a rarity in today's world of fast food establishments, bland, factory made food. From Custom cakes to cookies to cupcakes to danishes to cannoli's and everything in between, Meriano's is not to be missed. And if you see their Cannoli Truck you can always grab something there. I feel like we are lucky to have them in Madison, formerly in Guilford - just very rare to find a bakery these days that produces fresh, quality food. I have no affiliation to them but admit I love going there... check it out!

Menu is more than merely grilled cheese and soup. Many variations on the old favorite can be found here. The Mousetrap (five cheese blend) was great, but the French Mouse (Brie and apricot jam) was amazing. Friendly staff and good food. We'll be back to try other things on the menu. Highly recommended.

Last time there I figured a Caesar salad served on a hot plate fresh from the dishwasher was an oversight but nope, happened again. This time I didnât bother asking them to switch it out... too much trouble. Maybe itâs just me but a salad slowly wilting and heating up in a hot dish is gross. Caesar Salad itself is good but the grilled chicken is definitely bought pre-cooked and is a bit rubbery. Will return to sit outside but certainly not while the outside is closed... food just isnât good enough.
