We stopped here for a quick cup of coffee, tried the Vanilla & Hazelnut Lattes, a Mango Smoothie, & Lemon Juice. The coffee was very weak and diluted. The non caffeinated drinks barely passed muster. It's a great location and the staff is super friendly, the only pluses.

Restaurant is located near Aussie Bar and Mojo Hostel. Food is amazingly good. Potion is huge and ingredient is fresh. I ordered a salad and found vegetable and delicious dressing with the whole ball from yummy cheese with the price of USD3.5The only downside for me personally is that the restaurant is small and they allow guest to smoke. Staff is polite. They may not speak perfect English but they sure try their best to take care of you.

This is a really individual and engaging establishment. Besides being a cafe, it provides a valuable function as a second hand bookshop, an outlet for local ethniic artisanal products and an art gallery with an upstairs cinema. It is owned by a French Canadian lady who, at its opening 18 years ago, sponsored two artists whose work she continues to display and sell. We had quite wonderful French fries and adorable crepes with caramelised apples and chocolate sauce, similarly excellent., accompanied by very large cups of splendid local coffee. Quality is clearly a trademark.

Very well located bar, great feel at night! However, we found the cocktails to be distinctly average. Still enjoyed our evening here, but probably more of a tourist trap/gimmick than a genuinely decent bar.

At our Dexter Café & Bar in Luang Prabang (Laos) our guests will experience a hip 'international' setting - but with due respect for local tradition, heritage and style. Above all, our aim is to provide a comfortable environment that is 'cool' and 'comfor
This is a wonderful restaurant with a variety of food on the menu, many of which are Lao takes on Western food, like burgers, but there are also plenty of local, regional, and general Western options. The âBurger de Laoâ was as wonderful tasting as it was creative, and the dishes I saw go to other tables looked as good. Dexterâs food is a little pricier being on the main drag, but the prices were not bad at all.The restaurantâs main floor has a small, comfortable indoor/outdoor dining room with a comfortable cafe feel; I believe there are two upper floors of seating as well. The staff is friendly and efficient. I would definitely come back.
