What a great cafe. Veered off the beaten track on the way to Gatwick for brunch. Had a sharing big breakfast. Was expecting a greasy Joe but was really impressed. The portions were generous, the coffee was proper. The service was pleasant with no waiting about.Would definitely go again.

This place has a lovely feel to it. It reminds me of some of the book shop / cafes you see on tv with people sitting reading or chatting over a coffee. You can be on your own or with someone. It's a lovely place for a stop and get away from the hustle and bustle place in the centre of Lewes. The coffee was pretty decent, at least as good as many of the coffee shops. Enjoy a relax here, you'll keep coming back :-)

Fancied breakfast with my family. So after a Google found you guys. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Decent size portions. Even our 1 year old enjoyed it and he's quite fussy. Lovely relaxed, chilled atmosphere. Can imagine it's beautiful in the summer with outside seating overlooking a beautiful pond. Thank you again! I shall be back more than likely with my mum who is a huge elvis fan

Please do not confuse with 'Riverside Cafe' which is downstairs. These are two separate business', and some of our good reviews are being awarded to the wrong place. We are a Brasserie in a light and airy loft like space in a national heritage building in

On the outskirts of town it's one to easily miss but if you make the effort you will be warmly received and enjoy a lovely cup of coffee whatever milk you can tolerate. I'm glad I made the effort

I love this Zu Cafe - great food - vegan, veggie, salads, crepes to die for and lovely staff who just smile and make you feel welcome. Relaxing coffee or a meal in the evening - this is such a cool place to hang out

Welcome to the Little Cottage Tea Rooms nestled in the beautiful village of Glynde within the South Downs National Park. This is a delightful setting for enjoying morning coffee with a croissant, a light lunch or indulging in a traditional English afterno
Found this hidden gem on trip advisor.Since we did not pre order the special high tea, our options were sandwiches and scones, and tea of course. The food was fresh and delicious and the tea was good. The atmosphere was charming, in a nice green garden.Highly recommended

The patch is a friendly beer cafe, with great food and some amazing drinks on offer. Great breakfasts, sandwiches and pintxos with craft beers on offer as well as wine and other drink offerings.
Upon arriving in Lewes, we parked up and within seconds passed this cafe. A quick surveying of the menu lured us in and we were thrilled to see that you could go up to the counter and ask for a sandwich to be made to your liking. I plumped for an egg baguette and my partner went for a bacon baguette. I tend to prefer the slightly healthier option whereas my partner will usually opt for the one with the most fat or calories. The service was very friendly and awash with smiles. One of the staff came out to recommend a suitable light beer to accompany my partner's baguette. The bread was fantastic, bouncy and fluffy and fresh and there was plenty of filling inside. We both agreed it was a fantastic lunch and a wonderful find. We shall definitely be coming back here when we come to Lewes again.

First visit. Pretty country garden and shabby-chic china, etc. Staff very, very slow to clear tables. Paid for tea and cake but then had to wait at least 20 minutes before it was brought out. Cakes delicious, home-made and unusual flavours, with several gluten-free options. Dog-friendly too. No problem with wasps, as mentioned in earlier reviews: plenty of wasp traps around.
