This is rather a kooky little addition to the food outlets on offer in Taringa. The large teddy bears and eclectic mix of 'granny's house bric-a-brac' don't draw in those looking for uber cool or trendy. That is rather a shame because the lunch time food is excellent, well priced, well prepared and delicious, generous servings. If they're busy the ever obliging staff will insist on bringing it over to the office to save you waiting in the shop. They deserve to do well and the decor doesn't really do justice to the food and service.
Thought it would be interesting to try Italian breakfast as I'd heard the sister restaurant, next door, run by same people, had good Italian pizza. If this is authentic Italian breakfast, all I can say is menu is very limited, some of the portions small, garnished with lots of rocket. Indoor seating plus outdoor tables on street but with backless stools are very uncomfortable as the street runs down hill.Despite request for hot coffee, it was not. Would I recommend - no - would I return, no - if coffee doesn't pass muster, then I don't return, plus I was still hungry after my very meagre portion of panuozzo, which is similar to a small pocket bread folded over with scant filling.

We've been popping in here, usually only on Anzac Day, after the Kenmore RSL's service. Over the years, this place has been a Coffee Club, Mexican restaurant, and a variety of different restaurants/cafe's. It's a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of Kenmore's two shopping centres, and the rent must be cheap. No one seems to be able to make this venue work. Now trading as Cafe Tara, service is deplorably slow. An eternity before our coffee arrived, and even longer to pay for it, yet the place wasn't busy. Just poorly managed. A pity really, because their menu is very well priced, and it would seem to be an enjoyable place for a meal, albeit a cafe menu, rather than a restaurant. It annoys me when coffee shops can't, or won't make coffee the way we ask. A "flat white" can't be that difficult, yet despite reiterating we don't want froth, and please make it extra hot, it arrives luke warm and resembles a cappuccino minus the chocolate sprinkle. Thankfully, it's a few days shy of a year before we go back.

Very popular street front cafe in Grace ile where most off the seating is on the pavement outside.Nothing fancy as a venue but the coffee is great, the cakes scrumptious, including good quality and choice in the gluten free range.Breakfast/brunch offerings look great - will have to try sometime.Management and staff are excellent. Friendly place: always enjoy having coffee and cake here.

Itâs dangerous that this place is so close to where I live. They have the best scrambled eggs and it comes with a house made relish. The coffee has nice if you like that earthy taste and the muffins!! I had a salted caramel and chocolate chip one, Iâm still dreaming about it.

Went to Breakfast with my Daughter and had a lovely experience. She had Eggs over Hash browns with spinach and it looked like a Hollandaise Sauce and I had Corn Fritters with a rocket Salad and home made Relish. Delish......the Coffees were very nice too.Altogether a very nice experience

We had lunch at this restaurant today. Food was amazing, tasty, well priced and was accompanied by a large dose of excellent service. The owner was at the register where we ordered. He was friendly and is a bit of a character. He has been here for 22 years and knows his stuff. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and can recommend this cafe.

Where to eat Mediterranean food in Kenmore: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Tucked away a little with its back to Moggill Road doesn't do it justice. This relatively new offering to Kenmore is a refreshing change from the tired old Bliss and Plum and is, like Single Guys, great to see its enthusiastic vibe appreciated by the locals. There is a nod toward Middle Eastern influences in some of the menu which adds extra flavour and interest to the dishes. The service is excellent and efficient without being pushy and pricing is about the average for a breakfast.A great go to offer.Oh and its all day Breakfast!!!!

We serve a seasonally evolving, locally sourced and sustainably crafted range of dishes on an all day menu. We alter anything to the preference of the customer to serve all palates or intolerances. We have an emphasis on food, coffee and service, brewing
There is a relaxed, comfortable ambiance that greets you when you enter this little cafe in the leafy suburb of Graceville. There is some rather interesting art on the walls that make for good conversation. A painting of a cow on the beach fostered a lot of discussion! For brunch I chose bacon and poached eggs, accompanied by a mug of strong black coffee. Everything tasted delicious. It was a pity to see the the "goodness gracious" breakfast was no longer on the menu, but there were still some good choices.
