Reviews on Cafe food in Kalka, Haryana, India. Kalka is a town in the Panchkula district of Haryana, India. The name of this town is derived from the goddess Kali. The town is situated in the foothills of the Himalayas and is a gateway to the neighbouring state of Himachal Pradesh. It is on the National Highway 22 between Chandigarh and Shimla, and it is the terminus of the Kalka-Shimla Railway. To the south of Kalka is Pinjore, and the industrial village of Parwanoo (Himachal Pradesh) is to the north on the NH 22. Industrial development has led to a continuous urban belt from Pinjore to Parwanoo, but Kalka remains largely unaffected by these developments. Nearby is Chandimandir Cantonment where the Western Command of the Indian army is based. In 2013 it has come under the jurisdiction of Panchkula Municipal Corporation and its municipal committee has been dissolved.

Interiors are done up well.Staff is polite.Itâs open till late night (we came out at about 1145 PM).Food is good (weâd Chinese).Service is okay.One issue though, being such an establishment in the tri-city I was surprised they donât accept payment by Amex. That was surprising.

This cute little cafe with its peaceful library-like ambience never disappoints; the customer service and food quality are both consistently excellent. Furthermore, customers can borrow the books that line the walls plus there's a dedicated area for those who wish to browse the Internet or work on their laptops while there. All in all, it's an great place to go for a meal or to chill out over a cup of coffee or tea or a snack.

Amazing place to be, such a wonderful ambience, we have been to this place a couple of times, best part about the place is that its pet friendly. Myself, my wife and our fur baby Max thoroughly enjoyed everything - the food, the service, the ambience...thank you so much for making the place pet friendly...I strongly feel other places should also declare such Cafe's a pet friendly place so a celebration is truly done with family!

By far the best ambience a cafe can get in Chandigarh. Really up there when u dream of the cafes of European countries. Green fancy outdoor seating cafe! Trouble begins first with the service, not the best and most polite staff. Service was extremely lazy laid back and the food preparation took ages to come. The pizzas were like any other cafe pizzas, green ravioli was good! Priced on a higher side for the quality and quantity they had to offer!

The food concepts are very refreshing and a delightful menu for the health conscious. But the service is toooooooo slow. Our dinner took 4 hours. They are under staffed, portions need to improve and overpriced. I wrote this review while waiting 40 mins for desserts. Thanks Mrs.Priya Aurora for sharing your experience with us .As far as the service part we are getting more people to serve u better but about the portion and overpriced we always serve fresh and and everything homemade . no preservative and no additives.hope you give us a one more chance to serve you better.Thanks AJA India.

Have been to the place before but tried Chicken Lasagna this time and its absolutely lip smacking. The portion size is good and loads of chicken but its certainly not cheap. The masala cola tastes nice. Overall they serve quality food and I haven't found a fault yet.

It was my first visit to JW for a meal. We were a little early and settled for The Cafe.We ordered Rogan Josh, Chicken Biryani, Amritsari kulcha and Missi roti.While the chicken biryani and missi roti were okay nothing outstanding, the rogan josh and amritsari kulcha were way below local dhabas. I would recommend that the Chef in Charge, try the kulcha at the booth in Phase 9, Mohali.Biryani by Kilo in Mohali serves better biryani!The serving size is rather small.It was a very disappointing evening.Dear Guest,Thank you for choosing to share your inexperience at JW Marriott Chandigarh.
