The breakfast I received (scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns) was dripping in grease and the bottom of the plate looked like a grease lake. I could not eat more than a few bites. The coffee was weak too.

A pretty typical coffee shop with average pastries. The workers were very friendly to the 2 locals but a little dismissive to us as the only other 2 people in the cafe... which is fine, but we enjoy talking to locals to learn a bit more about the towns we visit, especially somewhere that seems as cool as Kalamazoo. The pottery and other art available for sale was very cool (expensive) and worth checking out as we enjoyed our mid-morning snack.

My friend, who had eaten here before, wanted to return for the French toast. She was not disappointed-it is made with homemade cinnamon swirl bread and was sweet and buttery, and my friend was in breakfast heaven. I ordered the Western Bronco omelet, which was filled with meats, veggies, topped with cheese and served with a huge side of crispy hasbrowns and homemade swirl rye toast. Want to go back soon to check out the lunch menu!

Microbrewery featuring a cafe style menu, morning breakfast served daily, and full espresso bar! High ceilings, an abundance of natural light, and a beautiful view of downtown Kalamazoo makes this unique space comfortable and inviting.
Took a trip (from Hampton Inn airport) to visit this brewery in downtown Kalamazoo. Good size micro brew with breakfast!! $1 Taco Tuesday so I might go for that. Ordered the Mango-A-Go-Go IPA what?! A 5.6% ABV IPA, which like hoppy beers and this one is very good, does not taste like mango which I like. 3 Blackened shrimp tacos it is, maybe one chorizo.

My partner and I came for a weekend breakfast, we had to wait a good 45 minutes to get seated which was a bit frustrating - however it's typically a good sign when a place is so busy!We both had French Toast dishes, I had the Espresso French toast which was amazing! I've never had anything like it before, and it had a really great coffee flavour to it. Unfortunatly, my partners dish was not so good. The Amaretti French Toast came with a caramel sauce that had all congealed, and there was far too much of it on the dish. A highlight of the joint is that it has a nice airy bright feel to the restaurant, it's great if you can get a seat by the window like we did. The service was really friendly and quick, overall a pretty good visit but I can see that perhaps some dishes can be hit and miss.
