This is mainly a cafeteria but it serves alcohol and food. It's mostly a place to drink your coffee/alcohol drink and not eat instead of the food is good. It's crowded because of it's at the city center. Generally a good pace to drink your coffee.
Service with a smile, tables & chairs right on the beach on a beautiful November afternoon with great frappe and fresh orange juice. A great place to relax away the afternoon
Beautiful and picturesque little cafe in the center of Kalamata. Great big garden full of trees, perfect for relaxation, even in the hot summer days. Warm and cozy inside decoration. Home made snacks and sweets. And the people working there are really nice and friendly. They take great care of their gem!

In the Historic Center of Kalamata, among the neoclassical buildings, the REX Hotel and the Town Hall of Kalamata is the most beautiful pedestrian street of Kalamata, there is the garden of the Indian restaurant MYLO. We suggest you taste the delicious di
We were quite excited when we found an Indian restaurant in Kalamata, but came away dissatisfied and feeling over-charged for a second-rate meal. The onion bhajis were excellent but the rest was mediocre and the garlic naan bread was inedible (it was loaded with garlic but tasted very bitter). They donât seem to have a tandoor oven as the naan breads were flat and chewy. The red wine was awful but they did change it. The beer (Cobra and Kingfisher) is expensive with no other choice. It was the most expensive meal weâve eaten in Kalamata and was the most disappointing. A very traditional and cozy tavern located in the center of the city of Kalamata just opposite the municipal building. It offers a variety of Greek traditional dishes along with a variety of local messinian delicacies and cheese including the famous local gourounopoula (pork) oven cooked. A must try for a visitor in Kalamata.

I visited Pleatea for breakfast with my family. I think it was one of the lovelier meals I had in Kalamata for its freshness, presentation, and service . The waiters are very professional which is a reflection of the restaurant. I had scrambled eggs and salmon which for onlyâ¬5.50 is extremely well priced. The other dishes my family had were the open sandwich and eggs Benedict, also all well presented and tasted delicious. Great place!

Traditional Loukoumades(donuts), waffles, ice cream, coffee, special sweets, all with the best ingredients and love, made to put a big smile on your face! Handmade at its best!
Generally trapped in Kalamataâs winter as smokers prevail indoors despite the law we found a FB page Smoke Free Entertainment in Kalamata. On their list was Mamaâs Sweet Shop. 4 of us went for a birthday celebration. Great service, quaint, cozy warm and comfortable and out of control great sweets and coffees. Highly recommended. My first enjoyable time out in a very long time. My favorite was the chocolate pie. Cheesecake, which is generally not good in Greece by American standards was light and decadent. Everything is made there. Satisfied and happy. Definitely going back.

From the first glance at Blossom Owl, even the most infinite eye instantly understands that it is a specialized coffee shop. The shop designed step by step was created to perform modern roasting house, brunch, handcrafted desserts and retail services. And
My friend and I went to Blossom Owl to have breakfast since it was near the place we were staying during our summer holidays in July.Staff was super friendly and kind, they also advised us on what to order. We went for some coffee and milkshake and some mini pancakes to share. They were freshly made. They were delicious!!If someday I am back to Kalamata, I will come back there definitely!

We only stopped by for an afternoon cocktail. The cocktails were professionally made and a bit stronger than weâre accustomed to but that was a good thing. The decor is fabulous and the servers very friendly and pleasant. Would love to return for a meal in the evening when the atmosphere must be fabulous.

Trying to be a bistrot.Louder music with fine casual kitchen.
Having discovered this gem 2 years ago, ventured back and not disappointed. Husband had the NY strip steak on both occasions (and the chips were fab..) and I shocked myself by having the hot chocolate mousse pudding - indulgent but heavenly. The wine we had - think house white - was the best on our entire trip. Very friendly staff and great music. Will def return
