This little restaurant is, of course, run by "Mom" and is truly the epitome of small-town service with a friendly attitude. Our order was taken promptly and served in a timely manner. The menu reflects home cooking selections and lots of comfort food. Their specialty seems to be coconut cream pie since several customers came in to pick up whole pies that they had ordered. We enjoyed our meal and will be repeat customers.

I had lunch at the Lonesome Spur after a several month absence. The food was not of the quality of my prior visit. Apparently their has been a turnover of employees as it appeared to be new employees. The service was not as good as in previous visits.

Very nice, smaller old style cafe. A complete menu for all. They appear to be better at breakfast based on the menu selection but our group ordered some of the breakfast and lunch plates. We were all satisfied with quantity and quality of our selections.

I ordered the ribeye and Iâm pretty sure that they put margerine on my steak instead of butter and the meat wasnât seasoned well. The fried green tomatoes were pretty good. The mushroom side was under cooked and served whole. No good comments from anyone in our group.
