My husband and I frequent this place almost weekly. The owners are lovely, the waiters are always enthusiastic, friendly and reliable and the food is always yummy.
Back to the Hub again this morning. Enjoyed my big breakfast very much, especially the Cypriot sausage the name of which momentarily escapes me. My coffee was lovely too. Service was warm and friendly. The Hub is recommended.Four months earlierThis cafe/bistro used to be known as Over the Road until a major renovation a number of months ago. The space has undergone substantial change and some lovely modifications have been made. It's more modern, orderly and coherent. The gifts that used to be dotted around the place are gone and it's more spacious now and warmer. Today we ordered the egg and bacon focaccia with chili jam. It was very nice and made for a hearty lunch. We finished it off with coffees and a scientifically halved salted caramel cookie. The cookie belongs with the foods served to the angels in heaven. I felt significant psychological pain finishing my half. My coffee was ok but not one I'd include in a hall of fame. It's a nice place and some of the other dishes looked fantastic.

Really disappointed with the service since the change of hands. Rude staff, used to have the best in area. Their FBook page only allows positive reviews and they delete feedback. If you’re not listening to customers then how can you improve? We went for 2 years most Saturdays and Sundays, advocated and spent circa $80 each weekend. If you’re looking for great service there are much better in the area.

We were recommended to go try a new Brekkie place in Ivanhoe, Victoria. I'm glad we were, as it was fantastic. It was really pumping when we got there on a Sunday morning and the food and service was excellent. There were plenty of friendly and attentive staff, variety in the menu, the food fresh and tasty and the coffee was good as well. For that (local) Brekkie, Brunch or Lunch, I would highly recommend checking it out. We'll be going back.

Fifteen Pounds is a Fairfield favourite. They serve Campos coffee - the Grange of coffee brands - and feature other interesting coffee labels each month for the discerning coffee drinker. They have good range of cafe favourities, including speciality baked treats but their delicious Wagyu beef and chicken burgers and crispy fries are hard to beat. Enjoy your meal in the relaxing, dog friendly courtyard at the rear of the cafe. Conveniently located next to Fairfield railway station.
Recommended to try this place by a girlfriend who’s a foodie & she was spot on!!A modern, tastefully furnished establishment with well thought out & creative offerings. We shared seared scallops then we enjoyed crab omelette & ancient grain salad with chicken - moist & very morish!! One of the nicest salads I’ve tasted in a while. Service was warm & attentive.Must return to try their dinner menu soon.

Good menu with reasonable range. Cabinet food available. Sell bread too. Friendly staff. Coffee delivered promptly. It was okay. Order taken and food arrived quite quickly. Busy place. Sausage roll was disappointing. Greasy and heated in a microwave. Don’t think this visit did the place justice and so might come back and try something different.
