Things to do in Irwin
Iceburgh Bistro is a great new place to go for lunch in downtown Irwin. The food is fresh; lots of choices to make to "build" your own salad -- and it's a big salad! The open kitchen gives you the chance to watch the friendly staff make your wraps and pizzas, or to ladle your soup into a bowl. You can call ahead to order your take our or eat in order, or just stop down...the service is fast, so you have plenty of time to enjoy your meal inside or out in the patio area before heading back to work.
We were looking for someplace to get a coffee for the road, and ended up here...so of course, we got some donuts, too! This place is a little bit like Cold Stone Creamery for donuts....you pick your donut "base", and then choose your topping..the toppings are "mixed" and added to your donuts to order, as you wait. We enjoyed the donuts, and tried a variety of them (of course, the more expensive ones we thought were the tastiest......). Which brings us to my main negative, and the only thing holding this back from a five-star review....these donuts, especially given the size, are definitely pricey! They are fresh and tasty, but they are smaller than a "typical" sized donut, but definitely seem to cost more per donut than a "typical" donut. This would hold us off from returning regularly. The staff here was very friendly and helpful throughout our visit.
The salad was fresh, crispy, and the dressing was tangy and light. There was an ample amount of grilled chicken.

We were on the way home from a little trip to the park and decided to give the piper a try. We started off with cheese sticks, which were really good. They were like cheese filled sticks, different and good. I had a burger which was well made with a generous portion of meat. My wife had a large egg roll, she enjoyed it. We will definitely be back, the breakfast menu looks good.Thank you for giving us a try! Iâm glad you enjoyed everything & look forward to seeing you again!
