Find out what Cafe restaurants to try in Interlaken. If you’re after a winter sports holiday, you can’t find a more gorgeous place to do it than Interlaken, the popular Swiss resort town. There’s superlative skiing, toboggan rides, miles of sledding tracks (which, like the ski slopes, vary in difficulty), snowboarding… all with amazing views of the mountains. In summer, hike among the ibex at nearby Neiderhorn, or shop for watches in the town’s boutiques.

It was a bank holiday evening and the staff were overwhelmed. We waited over an hour for a Pizza, (we were told there would be a wait). the Restaurant was quite large and had inside and outside tables that were all full. the problem was there was one chef and an oven that could only cook 4 pizza's at a time! The food was good and there is little more choice in town so be patient and don't go on a bank holiday!Thank you very much for your good review and also mentionning that there wasa Bank holiday ! Normally the oven is big in enough, if business is normal - butif guests for large tables without reservation pop in - we are stuck. We do hopeto welcome you again on a "normal" day.Best regardsRosemary Zingg-Dinkel

Treff is simply a great place to go. For a coffee in the morning, any time during the day or a drink in the evening with friends. The food is great and innovative, every time you come, there will be another surprise, thanks to the innovative team. Luscious pastry is baked by the innkeeper herself. The ambiance is excellent and the staff is genial, simpatico and motivated. You can feel that everybody enjoys work.I personally appreciate that there's comfortable also for elder people to go there. It's my "Lieblingscafé" in the area.

Landhaus Manor Farm La Conchiglia - We came across this restaurant while driving and thought it would be a good place for lunch. It's right on the lake in a really pretty location. We were a little put off at first because the waitress was trying to seat us in the corner, and one of us would not have been able to squeeze into our seat because of a man (sitting at the next table) and his backpack blocking the way. We managed to persuade her to seat us at a different table, and things went better after that. We had a really delicious caprese salad and a good pizza - one is definitely big enough for 2 people to eat. There were a lot of people in there eating their own pizzas though. It was good food, and we enjoyed walking through the campground after our meal to see the lake. This was a nice find!I'm a little curious: is it normal for people to bring their dogs into restaurants in Switzerland? This is not allowed in most places in the U.S., due to the Health Department, but we've seen it a few times in Switzerland, including at this place. By the way, the dog was better behaved than most people! ;)

As locals here, we are trying out the local cuisine! It was a breath of fresh air to find a little sandwich shop that had filling sandwiches prepared just exactly how you want it, hot or cold, with all the fixings! Friendly service with a smile in an inviting atmosphere! Not only that, the price of the sandwiches were at an amazing price for the size sandwich you get!! It's really annoying going around when you want something light like a pizza or sandwich and you pay 20 chf!!! Here at the Sandwichbar, we paid 20chf for the three of us!!!!! We highly recommend this place and we cannot wait to come back!!!!

Beautiful interior and central location, but other than that... nothing special. After being sent there by staff from our hotel we were hoping to have a pleasant lunch - instead we got greeted by moody baristas. After ordering, even tho the place wasn't too busy, we waited ages just to get our coffees. Flat white was barely warm - looked more like home made coffee rather than barista speciality coffee (that the place takes its proud in). On top of that the waitress spilled some of it all over the saucer while serving it to the table - didn't even say a word of apology. Food was quite average...

We ate here twice during our recent stay in Interlaken and both times did not disappoint. We sat outside and the staff are very friendly and helpful, moving tables and recommending desserts. Plenty of choice on offer with a menu for children. All of our meals were excellent, from the lamb entrecôte to the pan firied chicken breast washed down with the house Chardonnay. Highly recommended and would definitely eat there again, weâll we did go twice in a week so that says it all!
