I've been to this cafe many times, but only just realised there is no review on here.The food, including the coffee here is excellent. The menu includes light meals and delicious cakes that are home made. The dishes are western with a Japanese twist.The cafe is in a renovated old (100 year+) house, and has been very tastefully done throughout. There are lots of neat touches, which I will leave visitors to find out or themselves. There is also a stove for the colder months, although the cafe may not be open in the deepest winter months.There is also a gallery upstairs, and some items for sale.This would be a cool cafe in Tokyo or London, but the fact that it is in the middle of rural Japan, towards the top of Mt Sanbe, adds to its mystique!About 40mins from Izumo, but well worth the drive through the beautiful countryside.
