Second time visiting a slice of pie and while the service, food and setting is great I felt $16 for a pie and small salad was overpriced. The pie was fresh and tasted great but nothing to write home about. I am all for supporting small businesses especially those in small towns but feel they will overprice themselves out of business with prices like this. This was also the middle of winter and felt a salad with a pie was a bit out of place. A larger pie or perhaps a small soup with the pie would have been more suited to the cold Tasmanian winter. Great views from the cafe and staff are friendly.

We visited Cinnamon and Cherry in early January on the advice of friends. What a find!!! We were welcomed into the beautifully designed cafe seated and given menus. We chose the vegetable dishes and bread option. This sounds boring but..... when it arrived we were delighted. The plate was beautifully decorated with flowers and perfectly tender herbs like purslane. The food was perfectly cooked and utterly delicious. The broad beans were the best we have ever had. The home made bread was just wonderful. We were astounded and delighted. The service was great...you can tell this cafe is a happy place to work in.Unfortunately we were too full to try a dessert. The home made cakes looked delicious. This is one of the best cafe/lunch places we have ever been to - the kind of place one dreams of finding and usually never does. It is perfect, it really is.. When we thanked the owner on the way out she said 'everything is made with love'. It certainly and it certainly show!!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

In the rustic surrounds of an original apple shed built in 1942, learn about the Huonâs fascinating apple heritage told through the eyes of Willie Smith. A range of delicious ciders is available at cellar door and the café serves a simple menu of the fine
A delightful drive out of Hobart down to the Huon Valley, Willie Smiths Apple Shed was a warm inviting stop on a very cold day. Obviously very popular, with locals and tourists alike. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and service efficient. It was very busy, live music pumping, but a waitress showed us to a table that had just been vacated. The menu was good and prices very reasonable. We didnât try the different ciders, but it was obviously a popular offering. There is also plenty of space outside out of the wind with shelter, blankets and cushions on offer. The Apple museum is an affectation bonus. Well worth the drive. Wonderful to hear thank you Mary-lou!

Visiting the Huon Valley, was enhanced by a visit to Franks. A quaint setting and excellent displays of history in the apple industry was in addition to good food. A range of ciders was available to taste, and wholesome food available. There was even a goat to pat!Glad you had a great time Lady HAS :) Sorry for the delayed response!!

The Ranelagh General Store or RGS is not your usual general store. Donât be fooled by its name, this café and store offers a distinctive, locally sourced, fresh, innovative menu specialising in unique burgers, all-day breakfast and lunch options. Great co
Beautifully fitted out & set in a 1940s art deco shopfront, the quirky up cycled design pays tribute to the heritage of the local area. I adore the pea green walls contrasted with warm industrial vintage lighting. The tables have aged metal road signs as their tops. Offerings include good coffee, breakfast, burgers, Fish Fridays & the Sunday Roast. Went on Saturday eve & enjoyed the beef burger with avocado & corn for $17 which was a large serving. I also loved the Fruikake hot potato chips with a Japanese twist - seasoned with salt & toasted crumbled seaweed, served with wasabi mayo, yum!

We chose the breakfast special which consisted of eggs (scrambled, poached fried etc) turkish bread bacon and a grilled tomato. We teamed it up with coffee. The young staff were friendly and happy and the coffee and food was delivered to our table in no time with a dish of tomato sauce and parsley sprinkle. The cafe is licenced and has a good range of reasonably priced meals. Well done to all.

We had had a relative recommend this cafe and it lived up to expectations. We were able to choose from a number of foodstuffs for inclusion in a semi individualised breakfast. Three of us all chose something different with eggs, bacon and toast being common to all. One had mushrooms, spinach and potato, one had spinach, avocado and halloumi and one had sausage, halloumi add baked beans. All three plates were a yummy feed and none of us needed lunch after that. Juice and coffee were great too.
