Perched near the Yucatan Peninsula, the island is also a hot spot for whale shark viewing, and kiteboarders love the shallow waters and wide beaches. The white sand streets are relatively unspoiled, as most tourists prefer to party it up in nearby Cancun. A splash in Yalahao Lagoon is about as loco as it gets.

Be sure to eat here at least once during your stay. Specializing in a unique item I havenât ever had before makes this place stand out. Now that I have had tortilla espanola I wonât ever forget it. Perfect for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Amazing quality perfectly prepared and delicious I would call this comfort food and very satisfying. Hubby had the classic served with a couple of house âsaucesâ so good and so simple. Canât go wrong with potato egg and cheese. I had the version with Chaya and cheese it was good too.

What a great place to start our day! We had delicious fresh juices and smoothie bowls. The coffee is fantastic here and the detailed work that goes into plating your food is incredible. The manager was Italian and so warm and friendly. We absolutely loved this place! (PS-please open a Painapol in Playa del Carmen)

Delicious fresh lunch of avocado toast and smoothie. Small menu but perfect and very refreshing when you have had a lot of heavier Mexican food. It could be compared to Matcha Mama in Tulum except it's nice, cheap, delicious, perfect location on the beach... so it's total opposite. Most recommended ! Went 2 lunch out of 3

Healthful and helpful. Food was tasty, health, and coffee was nice. Wifi was great. On a cooler damp morning they gave us refuge near kitchen for breakfast. Great vegetarian options.

Stopped by here one evening for a snack and weren't disappointed. Had the beef burritos which were amazing! Some of the tastiest food we had and great value. Seating is on stools at the counter which is nice as you can see them making the food. Delicious smoothies too.
