We were lucky to get a table in this busy tea shop which attracts a steady flow of diners. The very pleasant and friendly member of staff confirmed that the cakes, scones and teacakes all contained eggs and/or milk so unfortunately there were no vegan options. However, when we were enjoying our espresso (which came with a glass of water, always welcome) and Americano she let us know they had vegan rocky road bars available so we were able to enjoy something sweet with our coffees, which were excellent and supplied by Grumpy Mule of Holmfirth.

We are a family run tearoom based in the village of Bainbridge. Overlooking the village green there is seating in and outside where you and enjoy one of our many homemade produce. Open seasonally 7 days a week from March until end of October 9.30am till 4
Set in the beautifully picturesque village of Bainbridge, the cafe offers a delicious range of cakes and drinks- hot and cold. Also a typical menu is available for breakfasts and lunches, or just a drink to sit down and enjoy while admiring the surrounding views. Seating is available both inside and outside. Typical regional gifts are also available. Well worth a visit.

I enjoyed a flavoursome double espresso which was served at just the right temperature. In addition to vegan chocolate brownies there were vegan options on the menu such as sausage butty, vegan burger and a ploughmans lunch comprising of hummus, roast veg, pickled onion and beetroot. The staff were friendly and there is an outside seating area to soak up the sun.Thank you for your feedback. Please call again.

My husband and I had been here a few times over the years, together and separately, and found it ok for a pot of tea and didn't mind the old-fashioned decor. However this was the first time I'd used the toilet and wasn't impressed. It was a good job I can still manage steep stairs and am only half a stone overweight! What was worse, and unforgivable, was that when were still drinking our tea a woman came into the room and starting vacuuming and as the room is very small we couldn't continue our conversation. It was only 4.30. As we left she stood aside to let us past but glared at us.On the table was a note saying that the business was up for sale. Let's hope the new owners give the place a total makeover and improve the customer service and also realize that there are a lot of vegetarians in the UK and even a good few vegans these days.

Spoilt for choice with the selection of homemade soups. Opted for the cauliflower and wensleydale cheese soup and was not disappointed!! Best soup ever and the sandwiches were fresh and well filled. Very friendly service and lots of good wholesome food on offer. Not pretentious. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for delicious food at a very fair price.

Called here two or three times, what a find!! Food is excellent roadside cafe fare. Great value with friendly staff. I have seen hundreds of motor bikes parked here on a Sunday.

Thirty four of us visited the Creamery on our way back to Warrington after four very good days in Northumberland. We had been with Ellen Smith Coach Tours, our usual travel company and our great driver Brent. They had organised a demonstration at 3.00pm of how their cheeses are made and a lovely and amusing young Yorkshire lass gave the demonstration, which was genuinely interesting. There was then the opportunity to look around the Visitor Centre and purchase cheeses, which we did and then some refreshments in the dining area. For once on this trip, I had piping hot soup! This was a very friendly place with typical Yorkshire good humour and to be recommended.

Had high hopes for this place. Iâve recently moved into the area and was recommended to visit this chippie. Iâve drove past it a few times and today I thought Iâd pop in with my partner. The cafe seating area is great, but it went all down hill from there.Despite waiting quiet some time for our food, we was disappointed when it finally arrived. The fish was terrible, it was completely soggy from the amount of oil, when I cut into it you could literally see the oil dripping of. The chips had no flavour and were just soggy, like theyâd been sitting there for a long time. Apart from that the pricing isnât terrible. But at the end of the day you are paying for garbage food.We left our plates pretty much full (and I never leave anything on my plate)Go at your own risk.
