Had a great lunch here and would definitely recommend. Prices are fair, menus ONLY available in Hebrew but kind waiters who were ready to tell us options in English. Many salads, sandwiches, meatballs, curry vegetarian and also traditional Israeli food available!! Great smoothies and (cold) coffee with RICE or SOY Milk available! - great to enjoy a nice lunch (we had to wait quite sometime for the food but it was worth it!) - area around it is quite remote and nothing much but good for a stop before visiting Caesarea for example. - free water for everyone with meals!

The food was superb. The unique broccoli felafel appetizer was scrumptious. The chestnut-filled gnocchi melted in our mouths. So did the chicken livers, which were cooked to perfection, and not overcooked, as is too often the case. The service matched the terrific food, in fact, surpassed it. The wait staff was extremely attentive but unobtrusive. For example, even though our waitress was across the room and behind the bar, she noticed immediately when we needed more napkins, came around the bar, across the entire room, to not only get us more napkins, but gave us wet wipes that are usually only provided at the end of the meal. The desserts looked good, but the portions were so large that we had no capacity for another bite. We'll be back, though. :-) The only surprising thing was that they closed for a while, very late in the afternoon/ early evening, apparently to prepare for the supper crowd. This was on a Saturday, probably their busiest day. I didn't check their hours; this may be their normal hours. The restaurant is unpretentious, with lots of warm wood; the floor is also made of wood, and seemed slippery in places, although it was very clean. Definitely family friendly; lots of families even with small children were enjoying their meals around us. A porch provides extra seating outside, which is definitely needed. While I didn't see anyone waiting, and we didn't have to wait, the restaurant was almost full the entire time that we were there.

The menu is not the common one you get in this type of places. It has special items, all very tasty! This place is recommended for a light meal.

Port Cafe located within Caesarea National Park and is surrounded by heritage and Mediterranean Sea. Canât ask for more with the blend of both from environment perspective. We tried the israel breakfast with latte. The food was above standard and value added with sea breeze. Definitely worth to spare you your time to take a break esp under heat.

After seeing the top of the Bahá'i gardens in Haifa we wandered a few minutes around after this Café came into our side. It's a very neat place decorated with charm. The waiter was very kind and the food was extra good. The Sabih here is made with pancakes instead of bread. Just great! Thank you!

A friend with whom I breakfast once a fortnight, wound up at Ella Patisserie, enjoyed it ("a really good breakfast at a very reasonable price") and suggested that we go there. And so, one sunny morning. . . . The restaurant is easy to find, only if you know where it is exactly. Had my friend not mentioned at the last minute that it is in a petrol station, I would still be looking for it. First, it is a very small place from the outside. Perhaps more important, there is no sign (at least I didn't see one) announcing its presence. The inside isn't all that roomy either: perhaps 10 or 12 tables. However, we had a reservation, and despite there being a party of 9 taking up more than half of the available space, our reservation was honored. The menu gives a selection of breakfasts, the first item on the list is an Israeli breakfast including a buffet. From the description in the menu (and possibly previously on the internet) I was led to believe that the buffet was a magnificent selection of breads, pastries and salads. However, in fact there were something like 4 or 5 salads, two cakes, a yogurt with toppings and some breads. No cheeses and no fruits. While my friend praised the salads, I found them quite average. I was in fact a bit turned off by the fact that while each diner was allowed to slice his bread from a loaf, no napkin or towel was provided to hold the bread while it was being sliced, and so as I ate my bread I was thinking of all the fingerprints of strangers that I was consuming. The breakfast/brunch also includes a choice of scrambled eggs or omelet as well as juice and coffee.. I chose the omelet, which eventually arrived (cold) and when I bit into it, it was dripping with oil.The service was unquestionably well-intentioned. But it was disjointed and completely unprofessional. The price was not out of line for what we received. The restaurant is open from 07:30- 20:00 and so it also serves meals other than breakfast. It is certainly not worth going out of your way to visit.
