Odd Socks have been a helping hand just when you need it. When that pile of washing or ironing gets too much pop in and relax with a nice drink and super cakes or ring and they will collect and return at a very low cost. All done for you !

We visited for an evening meal following the change from mainly daytime to mainly evening service. The place has been totally transformed with new deco, tables etc and is very impressive. The pizzas were extremely good, the sweet potato fries excellent and the Italian ice cream exceptional. Weâll definitely become regular evening visitors.

My wife and I called in for Sunday lunch. After the refurb the place looks much brighter and welcoming. We both had the traditional Sunday lunch, my wife pork for £7.99 myself a mixture of the three meats for a pound more. The food was plentiful and tasty, although for my taste the broccoli was undercooked but my wife found it just right. We both had cappuccino with extra shots which were excellent. The service was brisk and efficient. All in all a nice lunch.

Made a booking for classic afternoon tea for my friend and I after hearing about this place through a friend, canât believe Iâve not heard of this place located at the Fox and hounds and been open a year, on arrival we were greeted at the door by friendly staff, we were asked where we wanted to sit as the place was quiet and were show to our table, the food was served promptly, there was quite a generous serving each including tea and coffee, (great value forMoney at £10 per person)the food was very well presented, I cleared mine and my friend could not quite manage hers and was given a box to take it home, we had a lovely afternoon, great food and atmosphere, will definitely be returning for the parmo afternoon tea and to try the breakfasts.

Being local, we regularly pop in for a coffee or lunch and are always impressed. The choice at lunchtime is very good and varied to suit all taste buds. My husband had a homemade burger with bourbon bacon jam which he says was fantastic. Jason, the owner, makes it himself. I had falafel with salsa and tzatziki sauce. Delicious! Both came with a freshly prepared dressed salad, coleslaw and crisps. All for about £5 each. Excellent food at excellent value as well as excellent service.

6 of us went to the Christmas Quiz night and really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We did quiz papers between courses, a light-hearted bit of fun. The staff were extremely attentive and pleasant, nothing was too much bother. Would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely little bistro

We accidentally stumbled across this cafe/restaurant on the first day of our holidays. Staff were extremely accomodating and helped us negotiate a place for our son's pushchair. Myself and my husband ordered a cooked breakfast... Both were delicious, fresh and hot; perfect for a rainy Sunday brunch. We were so pleased we'd found this cafe and will be considering popping in again.

Beautifully placed across from the church, Badger's is on a small square which offers great Al fresco dining. Good variety on the menu (albeit no badger products). We had the southern fried chicken wrap and the scrambled egg and salmon bagel. Very helpful and friendly staff.
