I was out running errands and needed lunch. I popped into this place and was so pleasantly surprised! It was cute...and yummy! I had the special, turkey, bacon and cranberry sandwich with a bowl of chicken noodle soup. AND a piece of chocolate pie. I loved it and will definitely return!!
Glenda's cafe has quickly become an institution in Hunt County, with many people choosing to visit everyday. The restaurant it self is clean, but simple...no fancy furnishing here. The staff is always helpful and friendly, and the food is always fantastic. I've eaten there dozens of times, and I've never had anything that disappointed. I say...give Glenda's a try.

We went on Sunday, for a meal with friends, and from start to finish our experience, and the experience of those around us, was extremely disappointing! It took forever to order at the counter, where they had only one clerk to take orders on a Sunday at 12:30. The service was Terribly slow, and our food came out one-by-one spread out over about 20 minutes. The people next to us....who ordered 10 minutes before me, refused their food when it finally did come. The staff seemed to be over matched, and under trained. On a positive note, my broccoli cheese soup was good! In short, I would say that corporate really needs to take a hard look at this location. Just my two cents!
