Welcome to Pigeon Hole Cafe, where we aim to give you a true Paddock to Plate Experience. We have our very own farm, Weston Farm, and receive produce daily with much of our menu showcasing our fresh and seasonal produce. Everything that is noted in green
We had brunch here on the recommendation of the lady who owns the air bnb we stayed in. Stunning food in such a friendly, warm and cosy environment. The special mushroom tartlet was amazing and my partner loved the paprika baked beans. Great coffee. 100% recommend.

Great quick service despite being busy. Mandarin cocktail spritzer a must, so refreshing and sour. I had the potato hash, delicious. Friend had duck scrambled eggs and loved them. Very interesting menu.

Came here for a latte and soup after spotting it whilst walking by. Coffee was too strong for me but staff were obliging and provided extra hot milk on request which made it a really good latte. Soup..spicy sweet potato, chilli and coriander was very tasty but quite spicy as stated, which I like. Accompanying sour dough toast was excellent. It was very busy with people of all ages and walks of life. Staff were very welcoming.

Bakers Of bread, Viennoiserie, cakes, patisserie & provisions. Full breakfasts, morning and afternoon tea, & lunch are offered in a bustling environment with professional service. Takeaways available, and child friendly.
Very good pit stop for lunch. Pleasant decor, very good service, no music and choice of eating inside or out. Close to waterfront. Parking possible, good loos. Proprietors will no doubt relish the end of the building work going on opposite. Unattractive but not obtrusive. This was our second visit after some years and we will happily go next time for a third and fourth.....etc
Where to eat Bar food in Glenorchy: The Best Restaurants and Bars

This is a highlight on the burgeoning food strip that Moonah has become. One of the first to truly update to modern eating standards, Sault has undergone a change of management and slight spelling change, without losing any of its original standards and quality. The menu is an innovative choice of breakfasts that step outside the avo and hollandaise craze. Even their squid is presented with a different twist. I get so bored of the same menus everywhere you go these days. There is a Middle Eastern influence that carries through the menu. Always tasty and a menu that is sometimes hard to choose from . Also refreshingly not overpriced. Go!

My lovely wife and I together with a friend dropped into the very busy and popular Magnolia for some morning tea following a recent shopping visit in Moonah. Easy to see why there were so many customers coming into the cafe during our visit. Excellent coffee and a display cabinet full of delicious home made cakes. ( We sampled both ) The raspberry slice was a standout....... ' old school ' with real ! Raspberry jam. I am sure the remainder of the food on the very good menu would be of the same high standard. The excellent coffee and cakes were highlighted by very friendly efficient service.Definitely a place to visit when in this area. Look forward to a return visit.

I went here recently when visiting Tassie and made sure I fitted in two more visits before leaving as the coffee was so good! Highly recommend the food as well.

Small breakfast spot with one chef under the pump with the whole restaurant watching. Plate after plate of delicious food was being delivered, and while there is a bit of wait (to be expected), it certainly delivered on expectations. I had the pudding while my partner had the tartine, both delicious. Highly recommend, just don't expect a quick in and out breakfast and coffee.

If you are waiting for the ferry and have at least half an hour to spare do pop into this lovely cafe. Over-priced of course but service is friendly and efficient, the coffee aromatic and the cakes quite fancy. I enjoyed the blood orange cheesecake at $8. You get cubes of brown sugar and a view of the sea with dear little seabirds with yellow beaks hopping on the grass outside. They do provide soy milk so vegans can have their drink without worry

Whisk & Co Cafe in Lenah Valley offers it's take on modern Australian cuisine, serving up gourmet food all day and playing host to the Whisk & Co Burger Bar 5pm til 9pm, Wednesday till Saturday nights.
I have to say we are now regular visitors travelling over 30kms for breakfast. Superb coffee and fantastic breakfast meals that are not only generous but are fantastically presented and beautiful tasting. Staff are friendly and efficient. Very highly recommended. I cannot think of anywhere that I have had a better breakfast. Would recommend booking as it can be pretty busy.
