Reviews on Cafe food in Gdansk, Pomerania Province, Poland. One of Poland’s most beautiful cities, Gdansk, on the Baltic Sea, has played major roles in history, especially in the 20th-century. It was the 1939 flash point of World War II, and then in 1980, the birthplace of the Solidarnosc labor movement, ushering the end of Communist domination in Eastern Europe. Gdansk’s Old Town, painstakingly reconstructed to its Hanseatic League glory after being leveled in World War II, is a highlight. The 14th-century Town Hall houses the city’s historical museum.

While wandering around the wonderful Old Town we dropped into Cafe Lamus for a quick couple of beers and what a great find.Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, eclectic decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar,it's a cool place serving great craft beers served by staff who are very knowledgeable about their beers. We were here on a Saturday night, after a quick study of the beers on offer we both opted to have an IPA style beer here ,these were served in excellent condition, we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great bar we were in.As much as I enjoy the local brews such as Zywiec beer and Tyskie beer it's just so nice enjoying a quality crafted beer and these beers were quality. We really enjoyed our beers in here and the great atmosphere so much so that we ended up staying here for two beers each before we moved on and for a first time visit we were very impressed with this great bar, we actually didn't get to far as we went to the great craft beer bar next door called Lawendowa 8.Very easy to locate on Ul Lawendowa in an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination. Opening hours are;Monday to Sunday ,Midday till 2am. A great bar and well worth checking out.

This was the best find of our trip to Gdansk.Lovely little bar with great service, friendly staff, good food and spotlessly clean. This bar is quite small and you would nearly walk past it without realising it is there. It has a good selection of beer, drinks and really good food. I had a beautiful pasta dish with salmon and tomatoes. The barman gave us a free shot of the bars homemade cherry vodka. Delicious. You weren't rushed and you could sit as long as you wanted with your drink. We went back again the next day for drinks. We would return if we are ever in Gdansk again.

Kafëbë coffee&bistro is a cosy, family bistro in placed in a stunning heart of old town. It is a local and traditional cousins, reinvented and full of surprises. Definitely must visit in Gdansk.
We'd been looking for some cafe to have breakfast when eventually we saw Kafebe. Friendly and helpful waiters, delicious food, fantastic coffee and above all, lovely views on the Old Town from the place. A must

Everything here is designed in a French like manner: cuisine, products, staff and atmosphere. Purely and 100% a la francaise! It is a little restaurant run by Dominique, who is a French chef serving only delicious and healthy dishes.
Lovely little cafe off the beaten track. Very friendly waitress who was able to advise on the menu according to dietary needs (gluten & dairy intolerant) and they were very accommodating. Good food, can only comment on the buckwheat pancakes & crepes as we just had a snack. Recommend.

After 2 years of being vegan, trying vegan restaurants, normal restaurant with vegan options, and me vegan chef ( food from every restaurant was worst than our at home). That restaurant is the best we discovered by traveling with our van traveling life style by Switzerland, Germany and Poland. Big bravo for cooks, waitresses, and concept you made! If you are vegan and looking for vegan alternative, that the only one! Thank you :)))))))
