Judy's is one of the highest rated breakfast places in Garland. On my first visit, it's easy to see why. The breakfast menu is extensive with plenty of options for even a particular diner. Service is quick (for a cooked-to-order place), pleasant and efficient. I did not have to ask for, or wait for coffee refills! I will return when in that area. The menu includes lunch offerings, and there is a display case of pies near the register.

We went to Main Street Cafe in Downtown Garland for the first time. We arrived about 5:20 PM on a Monday night ... and we were the only customers. I was worried, but I shouldn't have been.I had a cheeseburger and fries; my husband had the mushroom burger and fries. I drank water; my husband had a couple of Budweisers. The burgers and fries were excellent and my husband loved the super-cold beer.By the time we left, several tables were full. While I didn't taste of them, some of the entree plates looked quite good.Our waitress was very good, attentive but not too attentive. The facility is clean. The tables are set with nice flatware and cloth napkins.We will definitely go back.

I wonder.,cool restaurant..great location. Do the owners not taste how bland and unflavorable this food is!! Gravy looks good..NO taste! Too bad. Could be so good, but just isnt.

This is a charming coffee shop in down town Garland. It was perfect and new owners have to make their mark. The new bright white sub way tile does not fit the decor of the building. What were you thinking? We invited another couple to lunch and we could not hear each other talk the music was so loud. We have loved the harpist and piano players for lunch but these two musicians didn't realize this is a small restaurant, you don't need to scream. The food was good but now no salad and the tea glass is half the size it used to be. Are they cutting back to save money?
