Tucked away inside the Villa del Sol complex in downtown Fullerton, the Brownstone Café offers a relaxing environment in which to enjoy a tasty lunch or breakfast. There is both seating indoors and on their outdoor patio. They offer a nice selection of salads and sandwiches. They are also known for their breakfasts, which are served all day. My wife ordered the Spinach Apple Walnut & Chicken salad, while I had a Veggie Breakfast Burrito; we were very happy with both our dishes. The service was friendly and attentive. We would not hesitate to return for another meal at the Brownstone Café.

I've Been Doing Thursday Night 'Amtrak Runs' Between Anaheim and Fullerton This Summer To Gain Status In Amtrak's 'Guest Rewards' Frequent 'Trakker' Plan. I've Spent Roughly Half My Time Between Other Restaurants In The Area (Burger Parlor) and This One. It's In The Old Santa Fe Train Station (Along with The Amtrak Station - Ticket and Waiting Area). I Had On One Particular Thursday 'The Polish Pup', A Polish Sausage with Bacon and Shredded Cheese Topped with Spicy Mustard. Delicious!!! It's A Bummer Now That My Summer Runs Are Finished, But I Hope To Return Soon For One More. Peace. Joe The Bear - LA, CA

This is a small place in Fullerton popular with the college crowd. Breakfast is served all day and is delicious! Lots of choices from Santa Fe type breakfast paninis to strawberry waffles or French toast. Breakfast potatoes are simply delicious or they have hash browns if you do prefer. Food always seems fresh. Lots of lunch choices too with chicken salad sandwiches, soup and salads. Cute ambiance inside or take a table outside and people watch. Gets crowded at lunch and weekends for breakfast. Servers are college age and are recognizable meaning they've been there s while! Some aren't as friendly as others but all in all service is good and good is really yummy!!

Happened upon this cafe while visiting Fullerton. Healthy, tasty eats!!!! There are vegan and gluten free dishes. I had a flax meal panini that was delicious! And a coconut line ice ya. It is the best ice tea I've ever had. I ate outside in a beautiful courtyard. Highly recommend!!!!

They are very busy on Sundays. The service was average, I think they wee understaffed. I had a chicken breast sandwich on sour dough bread. The chicken was done right, but it was almost lost between two large pieces of bread. Nothing fancy, with mayo and lettuce and tomato. The french fries were limp and soggy, not worth eating.

After months of checking out pics of their brioche french toast I decided to give it a try. While it was flavorful, the thickness of the bread really threw me off and it was difficult to eat more than half. The chilaquiles on the other hand were terrific. We spent $40 for 2 entree, coffees plus tip.
