Ive been walking past this place on the way to university for 6 months and finally dropped in the other day. I'm glad I did as the coffee is too quality and they have lots of vego/vegan food that tickles the taste buds. Plus, Lucy and Michael are super chill/freindly folks that make the customers feel welcome. Great spot!

Have seen this place really busy during the weekends but today was a beautiful day so took s midweek bike ride from Joondalup to Freo. Chose a late breakfast at this quirky converted railway carriage. The location is great situated amongst the pines and far enough from the kids playground not to be annoying but close enough for any parents to feign interest in their kids welfare:)Midweek this place is quiet and relaxing; the staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was very tasty. The coffee was terrific, I had two cups.A most enjoyable morning and I highly recommend this place

Had lunchhere and was very surprised. Delicious and tasty lunch meal with healthy and creative options to choose from. Was really popular and clients seem to be returning customers, so a real good sign. Not a coffee drinker but was told by my partner that the coffee she had was great. Judging by the take aways, I can concur with her recommendation.

Great breakfasts and lunches (especially the salads) are a feature of the "new look" Vanilla Bean under Kenny and his friendy staff. Our favourite spot for morning coffee - and a cake or biscuit including flour free and gluten free - or something more substantial. The cafe's recent expansion and upgrading has made it a much more attractive venue than it used to be, while still retaining that Freo atmosphere.

The worst food in Fremantle. The seafood chowder was packet marinara mix that smelt horrible. The toasted panini with chicken cheese and avocado needed to be sent back to the kitchen to be retoasted as it was cold and the cheese wasnât melted, tasteless none the less. The beer was cold however the wine was served in a glass with water marks suggesting the dishwasher needs a clean. We were only charged for drinks as the food was so bad. We went here in the first place on recommendations that the seafood chowder was good but never again

Italian family owned Caffé and Lunch Bar in the heart of Fremantle. Authentic, traditional and genuine Italian food.
When in Fremantle, donât go past this little gem. Amazing fresh and authentic Italian. In-house gnocchi is best Iâve ever had. So fluffy and light. Other dishes looked and smelled great too. Each one of us was extremely satisfied with our choice. We actually had a family argument over whoâs dish was the best. We will definitely be going back. Experience was topped off with the Great friendly service. Thank you very much! We are happy you enjoyed our gnocchi and our traditional Italian food! And thank you from all of us for your kind words about the friendly service!RegardsAda and Giorgio

Our standby place, because we know how good the coffe is there, and the location is good too. The only reason we do not go there always is that we NEED to have some variety.

Great service, fabulous food. We had breakfast there this morning. It is a 41 degree day here in Perth so it was a bit warm inside but honestly I expected to be melting. I had the poached eggs on ciabatta with bacon and sausages. The bacon and sausages were excellent quality, really quality ingredients. I was impressed. I am not easily impressed. My husband had a 'little lefroys' which was a full English breakfast. The serves are about average, and the quality of the food is excellent. That is the way it should be. My husband order "the biggest latte you have" and he was indeed rewarded with a HUGE latte. On the menu there is a create your own section (which I had) so you can tailor your order to accommodate vegetarians, vegans, gluten free or fussy eaters (that is me).We arrived at 8am and the tables were full outside, plenty inside. We left at 10am and the place was heaving.Hipster Freo cafe that actually delivers on food quality. We'll be back.

Fun and quirky dog friendly cafe with top notch food and coffee, fresh juices, super friendly staff and a lovely garden courtyard. Housed in a heritage listed Freo cottage, the warm space fills with happy locals and visitors seven days a week.
Lovely old renovated cottage. We had a Sunday breakfast and it was rather busy but the food was great.
