Just off the beaten track but feels a million miles from the tourist throng. Good food, and they really are French.

Sokkelund is the quintessential neighbourhood brasserie, kitted out with lovingly worn-leather banquettes and handsome waitstaff in crisp white shirts. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, join the steady stream of regulars for flexible bistro bites, including ar
I went there with some friends and ordered STJERNESKUD that a friend recommended, including steamed and fried plaice fillet and shrimps. The price wasnât cheap as it is the case for most up-scale restaurants in Copenhagen, but the dish was very tasty.

The first time you step inside youâll need a moment to adjust your mind. A huge, meandering space of mismatched chairs and sofas, the smell of amazing coffee and people talking, smiling and not looking at their telephones. Because every inch of wall space is covered with shelves of board games, card games and entertainment of the non electronic type. A well stocked gin bar helps keep spirits high. Check out the street food restaurant upstairs for some great nosh too. A proper gem of a place.

Went for the brunch, but we're were late(all our fault), so had the lunch instead. Chicken salad and avocado sandwich were delicious. Very fresh, wholesome dishes. I would order two sandwiches( which is suggested on the menu) as 1 sandwich isn't enough, plus they are very good, so definitely have two.Place was buzzing the time we were there, and staff were really friendly and helpful.Do try get there for the brunch, lots of people around us had it and it looked great. If you miss it, lunch isn't a bad 2nd prize

Sweet cafe... nice glasses of pinot and two pizzas worked a treat. One mushroom and ham, and one goat cheese, apples and walnuts, both with fresh arugula to top. Thin crust, light enough dinner that we had desserts, lemon tart and a rhubarb pastry to die for. All the TripAdvisor recommendations were spot on!!! Nice friendly service, too, thanks! (Ah, one note... perhaps people with mobility problems might have difficulty handling the stairs.)

I am not vegan, but have been trying to reduce my dairy and red meat intake for health reasons. I am also always looking for a good vegan burger. I accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant after a long day of travel. I ordered the vegan burger and it was outstanding. I wish it weren't deep fried (so much for being healthy lol), but it was one of the best vegan burgers i have had in my life. Everything on the menu looked great. Highly recommended, especially if you are staying in this area.

Bowl Market Copenhagen is a small cafe serving healthy, organic food, with a great focus on breakfast, primarily vegetarian and vegan. Everything is served in a bowl including gluten free, organic porridge, acai bowls, risotto and vegetable porridges and
Nice creamy porridge and the lemon/blueberry combo tasted so nice. Friendly service and the portions are huge, we didn't eat again until dinner. Only minus is the fact place is really small (but cosy with communal tables!) and it was awfully hot inside when we visited.
