We stopped in on Memorial Day Monday. They were very busy, perhaps because many other restaurants close on Mondays anyway. They took our cell number and off we went for about 15 minutes, The Brussels Sprouts were crispy and totally yummy. I had the grilled cheese and my lunch mates each loved their meals as much as I loved mine. I still get pleasantly surprised when a restaurant in a small or historic place offers legit and varied vegetarian options.This place had a great menu, service, food and drink. The people were friendly and we would gladly return!

Delicious food and very friendly owner and staff. Can't wait to come again. Shepherd pie; fish and chips and mushy peas excellent. Tea was good and hot. Nice ambiance. Very charming. Beautiful tea service. We came too late in the day for scones but it gives us another incentive to return.

They have a huge selection of soups that changes every day. Not sure what to order? They'll give you a sample to try! Great staff, fun and encouraging. I had the Lobster Bisque and the Veggie Wrap. YUM. . . LOTS of food, consider getting a smaller soup. Or soup only.
