Ganske venligt personale og et okay spisekort med pizza, grillretter og dagens ret. Priserne på maden er fine, men drikkevarerne er ret dyre og nærmer sig "københavnerpriser".Jeg bestilte kylling, og jeg gik i hvert fald ikke fra stedet sulten...

I stayed at this hotel for a week, and had tried some of their "speciality of the day". Most of the time it was good.One time it was based on a big portion of chicken breast and boiled potatoes, and sauce.Once the chicken was replaced by something like a bacon, but which was fried for a very long time in oil..Still i would recommend this place.

Havde hørt at deres mad skulle være god og prisen det samme.Menu består af burger, pommes og dip for 75kr burger og pommes er en fin portion, aioli smagte fint, deres cheeseburger og pommes smagte herligt, bøffen var saftig.Sodavand er dyrt, 35kr for 0,5LEt sted jeg kommer igen, dog kunne der godt have været terrasse varmere, nu der har hyggelig udendørs servering, der var dog tæpper. Heard that their food should be good and the price the same. Menu consists of burger, french fries and dip for 75dkr burger and french fries are a nice portion, the aioli tasted fine, their cheeseburger and french fries delicious, the steak was juicy. Drinks is expensive 35dkr for 0,5LA restaurant I visit again. However, there could well have been terrace warmer, now that has nice outdoor dining, however there were blankets.

Small local place, with warm and nice staff.Been there a few times and always feel welcomed. They have a wide range of sandwiches, however I had the vegan/vegetarian option.Note: Sandwiches are huge!

My wife and I recently stopped in the beautiful town of Fredericia, Denmark on our Baltic Cruise. During our stroll down the main walking street in Fredericia, we ventured into the Den Gylden Ovn for coffee and pastries. Both were delicious! Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Busy place. Highly recommend giving this a try when in Fredericia!

We stopped by for a quick lunch, passing by due to business. We had a quick dish and a coffee which was all really good! Friendly service as well. However while asking for a little chocolate just to round off the lunch, we asked him to choose something for us, as in a piece or two we could share but he came back with 6 chocolate frogs. We thought ok, its a small thing we will have 2 or 3 of them. They were very sweet so we couldnât have more than 3 pieces. When we went to pay and had left the place we noticed that we had been charged 110 Danish crowns for a frog mix or frog collection, canât remember what it was called exactly. 110 DKK!!! He was selling these frogs singularly at the counter for 10 DKK...so we should have eaten like 11 pieces to reach that amount. A real shame, it cost 2 stars on that account...simply not transparent. At least have the decency to mention what you have chosen for us when the prices is that important for chocolate frogs...of low quality too! Sorry but not coming back!Sorry, but we can certainly not agree in your complain, otherwise you had "frogs" that has an value in the shop, and another value in the restaurant, just the same as if yo had bought some other stuff, like wine. Sorry that you had this bad experience, we wish you all the best and a very happy new year

We visited the Café Vivaldi in Fredericia whilst visiting the town during a day stop over. We had taken a walking tour during the day and stopped off here afterwards for a cup of coffee and a cake. We ordered our drinks and a large cookie inside, and took a seat outside in the afternoon sunshine at one for the many tables set out along the pavement. The waitress that served us spoke very good English (which was great as our Danish is non-existent)! The coffee was served in a glass rather than a mug which is very âcontinentalâ and was very good.The street here is quite wide and pedestrianised so we did not feel cramped and opposite was a large water feature though this was not working at the time of our visit.The café was reasonably busy with a mixture of tourists and what appeared to be locals as well, all in all a very pleasant venue to enjoy your drink and watch the world go by.The price of our visit was relatively high to what one might expect to pay in the United Kingdom though whether this was due to the currency exchange rate or a higher cost of living in Denmark we were not sure.Dear Stewart.Thank you for your fine review.
