Things to do in Findhorn
Went there first with a large group and family dog. Then later as a couple for lunch. This place doesn't disappoint. Dogs allowed, good variety of beers (try the raspberry beer!), good, interesting menu and the good is very good in large portions.
I love good ice cream and am always on the lookout for somewhere new to try. Mathers, next to the playpark in Grant Park offers around 16 imaginative flavours from their kiosk. The ice cream is of outstanding quality, my particular favourite being pineapple sorbet which is like a delicious hit of fresh pineapple. The kiosk also serves teas, coffees and soft drinks. Treat yourself to one of Matherâs ice creams.

Had an early lunch here.We had sweet chilli chicken panini.Asked if the chicken was in a batter before it went into the panini, was informed it was,so ordered it.It came out in no batter? The panini was very soggy inside, and my friends was wet on the outside? The salad it came with, was fresh and cold how it should be,and the chips, hot and fresh. But im afraid our visit was spoiled by a piece of plastic in my panini, now i know this happens sometimes,so wasnt too concerned, but would of appreciated more of a reaction from the waitress !, Although, she was a nice friendly girl

More than a restaurant. A good food store, a large sweet shop, and a range of good quality goods to tempt everyone.A pleasant well organised restaurant with enough staff to ensure you don't feel rushed. A good selection of food. Our meal was well presented and proved very welcome to a hungry traveler.

Excellent cooked breakfast and bacon roll with really nice bread. All washed down with good coffee and polite efficient service. Would recommend
Cafe 5 boasts a fantastic beach front location. For great homemade food and bakes, fantastic friendly service pop in and see us
We knew about the yacht club frombefore so cycled to shore side entrance.Friendly enthusiastic young lady serving.Lovely baking on offerWe had filled breakfast rolls too ; very nice. The outdoor area has a great view. Probably fair to say impression I have is it needs a revamp on the terrace to appear more inviting because there's a bit of competition around the village.

Located at the entrance to the Universal Hall, open all year round the cafe has inside seating and a popular outside garden terrace. We offer a wide range of snacks and drinks with an emphasis on fresh, local and organic ingredients.
We stopped here for drinks and cakes. Beautiful array of tempting cakes on show, but unfortunately the only vegan choices were cupcakes (which were dry and tasteless) and vegan bites (disappointing when compared to a nice slice of cake!) Coffee was good. We also used the bar during the interval of a concert we attended at Universal Hall - good choice of drinks, including organic cider.

Popped in for lunch on a rainy Thursday. Great choice from normal menu and specials board. Friendly welcome with quick service. The club sandwich was substantial served with salad and fries. Our choices were delicious and other dishes going by looked good too. Prices very reasonable and value superb.

Where do I start? The first day we were in Findhorn we went for breakfast here as they don't do breakfasts where we stayed at the Crown & Anchor. After ordering our breakfast a gentleman came over to our table, (outside looking at this perfect view of the harbour) he introduced himself as the owner"my name is Simon welcome to the Captain's Table and Findhorn, (he gave us his card) if you have any problems please don't hesitate to call me". He went on to ask where we were from and how long were we staying. After that we ate there several times and each with a warm friendly welcome.Ardderchog (excellent)

We're a cosy and friendly cafe bringing quality local flavours, traditionally cooked to your palate & dedicated to homegrown, organic ingredients wherever possible. Proud and passionate to be part of the Slow Food Movement along with The Real Bread Campai
Well, I guess not everybody comes through Findhorn on their Scotland holidays, therefore for us this cafe was a real discovery. We relied on our gude and went there only to have a coffee, while Findhorn appeared to be a destination itsself too! Anyway, the nice little cafe & bakery has a lovely atmosphere and one does not know what to chose because everything looks so tempting. The personnel was so lovely and the food was so excellent, in additon to their philosophy to use only organic / local ingredients. We'd love to come back one day!Thank you for such an enjoyable review. Just to be ever so factually correct our priority buying guidelines are indeed local and ecological. Where that is not possible or viable we try to include Fairly traded/artisan on imported items such as coffee.spices etc.
