In our opinion this cafe is expensive for what you get and the staff are not very friendly. Suppose it's ok if you want microwave food.

Great food at great price. Service from the waitress/manager is friendly and exemplary. The cooking is always fresh with quality ingredients. I have eaten here many times now and my wife loves it too. The staff make you feel so welcome. Caters for all ages. I have eaten in most cafes in Boscombe and this is by far and away the best. Exceptional food at very reasonable price. I thoroughly recomend you try eating here.

We have been coming for years and we were very disappointed when we came last sunday we waited nearly three hours for our food along with other customers when the food came it was not up to standard if there was a good reason for the delay it would have been better if we were told and not just left waiting very disappointed

What a find. Friendly staff, wide selection of breakfasts to choose from ( and they allow you to alter what's on the menu to suit).Waiting time short, food on arrival piping hot, portion size great.Certainly hope to make this a regular place to breakfast. Will recommend without hesitation.

Went here yesterday while in Winton . never stopped in Winston before, so everything here was new to me. Hadn't had breaky since leaving Bournemouth hotel so wanted a bite to eat and found this little spot by chance just by glancing down a road. All the staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming, seemed to know their local crowd well as they were chatting with everyone. I had the big breakfast and it was really nice, filled me up for the rest of the day ! Have to say that the quality of the ingredients as well was excellent - the bacon and sausages especially were beautiful. For what they charge considering that you're getting such good quality food is really good - could be charging more in my opinion.I visit Bournemouth quite a bit for shows each year and I'll definitely stop in Winton again and pop by this cafe for something to eat once more. Thanks to all the staff & keep up all your good work ! See you againHi there!I would just like to thank you for taking the time to review us! I have passed on all your lovely comments to all the staff too. I'm delighted that you have enjoyed your visit with us and very much look forward to seeing you again soon.Kind RegardsDan

The Beacon offers simple tea/coffee/snacks in a welcoming yet peaceful atmosphere. It's not very large, but what it does it does well. An unassuming stop off when in the town which is well worth visiting and ideal for a casual get together with friends.Thank you MrsAverage for your lovely review, it's a pleasure serving all our guests.
