Reviews on Cafe food in Fareham, England, United Kingdom. Fareham (/ˈfɛərəm/ FAIR-əm) is a market town at the north-west tip of Portsmouth Harbour, between the cities of Portsmouth and Southampton in the south east of Hampshire, England. It gives its name to the borough that comprises the town and its surrounding area. It was historically an important manufacturer of bricks (notably used to build the Royal Albert Hall, London) and a grower of strawberries. Current employment includes retail (including Fareham Shopping Centre with around 100 shops), small-scale manufacturing, and defence (with the Royal Navy's HMS Collingwood and the Ministry of Defence's Defence Science and Technology Laboratory nearby).

Thought weâd try donnys today for lunch since itâs been taken over service was shocking was told there had been a mix up with order on a few occasions then people around us that arrived later were getting their food!Mentioned to lady behind the desk asking were are order was then told they had run out of chicken.Went to leave and miraculously baguettes were ready so took them away with us.Granted we got an apology and free food but wonât be returning in a hurry!!

We decided to have our 25th Anniversary party at the Dovecote after another venue let us down. This turn out to be the best decision we could have made.Tom the manager/owner was very accommodating, efficient and professional right from the start, talking us through different food and drink options and listening to our preferences. Our guests were very happy with the service and the attentiveness of all the staff at our party. The atmosphere was great and everyone enjoyed the lovely buffet, including our gluten free guest. We supplied decorations that were put up by Tom and the team and our own playlist that was played through the speakers outside at the venue, this really personalised our party for us.Thank you to Tom and the team for making our party very special.

Stopped here to reenergise during Xmas shopping and was not disappointed! Lovely surroundings sat in a booth, impeccable service and a delicious hot omelette cooked fresh to order. Reasonable prices but itâs the service that sets it apart from other restaurants, absolutely top notch.

The charming Vintage Tea Room in Fareham, Hampshire presents itself as an idyllic environment to relax, catch up with friends, sample the array of delectable cakes or enjoy breakfast or lunch.
Revisited with two friends. We were treated with distain. I had purchased 3 cream teas with groupon. The lady and gentleman serving seemed very "not bothered" with our custom. Although food was nicely presented it was practically dumped on our table with no smile or greeting. The scones had presumably been placed in the microwave as although nice and warm they were like cardboatd in places.Very disappointed.

Took my two children (theyâre grown ups now) to lunch here on Sat 24 Nov - what a fab little gem this is! We all had the spiced parsnip soup - wow - delicious. All of us enjoyed our get together along with a fantastic lunch - thank you.

Each time we visit the Garden Shed our expectations are exceeded. My wife, daughter and I visited on Bank Holiday Monday, I had the medium breakfast, my wife had the scrambled eggs on avocado and sourdough and my daughter made up her favourite of sausage and bacon. The food was excellent as was the service.

This cafe is outstanding for customer service, friendly staff and most importantly delicious cakes! We had the honey, parsnip and orange cake and the lavender and Sicilian lemon cake. Sublime! Delicious flavours, moist and decent portion size. This gem of Fareham is not to be missed. Highly recommended!
