Visited with another couple for lunch. Hubby had fried fish as did the other couple. I had a 2 egg build-your-own omelette and all our orders came out cooked as ordered and hot. Hubby felt there was a little to much breading but the taste was good and the serving amount was plentiful. My eggs came out just as I like them and I was very happy that they serve breakfast all day. The atmosphere was relaxing and down-home. It was crowded and the cafe seemed popular with the locals. Prices were reasonable and we would come again next time we are in town.

The Soup Pot is a warm comfortable and inviting place to visit. The food is always fresh, locally sourced and homemade! Many ethnic varieties of soups daily. Homemade white and breads, wraps, lunch boxes and bowls. Served to go style with in store seating

Nice to find the Soup Pot for a quick lunch while passing through Fairplay. House specialties were soups, let me also compliment the Meatball Sub as an excellent lunch choice.Service here was especially friendly and caffeinated beverage choices helped me re-charge to complete the drive to Durango. Will try one of the house specialty Soups when passing through Fairplay again.
