This used to be the Beach Grass Cafe, but changed it's name to Swami's Cafe (there is also a Swami's Cafe in Encinitas, but it is off the Coast Hwy). The only TA listing for Swami's in Encinitas is the one off the Coast Hwy. Can we add this one?
We were visiting friends in San Diego and they took us to a favorite place for the locals... Swami's. Now it's on our favorite list. For a casual dining experience... this is a great place! We went on a Sunday for brunch so some of our party had breakfast items and some had lunch items...all were fresh, ample sized, very tasty and reasonably priced (for California!). I had the California wrap made with chicken, avocado, artichoke, and greens and a side salad that had their fresh basil house dressing... excellent! My wife had the Veggie Rama omelet served with sliced avocado on top and fresh fruit ($12 if I remember correctly)...she said it was "delicious!"Service was prompt and friendly, the atmosphere was lively, casual and comfortable. With nine locations I'd highly recommend a stop if you're in the San Diego area.

Located right along the highway, sitting outside is the nicest place to eat the best food in town. A huge plate at a good price, they offer both hash browns and home fries for breakfast. The service is pleasant and plenty of indoor seating when times are cool.

Finally! An eatery that balances flavor, variety, and health conscious ingredients to perfection! We enjoyed the Veggie Pesto Scramble, Breakfast Waffle, Cinnamon Roll, and their Spicy Mayan Mocha. EVERYTHING was delicious! And this deserves itâs own section; THE BEST CINNAMON ROLL, hands down!!!! Seriously folks! You owe it to your taste buds to experience it!Great location, decor, ambiance too! You will fall in love with Nectarine Grove! Enjoy!

Organic Restaurant on Main Street in downtown Encinitas 100% Non GMO and 99% Organic Real Food Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner | Drinks 7 days a week Featuring Local Craft Beer Biodynamic and Organic Wine
We had a delicious breakfast here. Greek style scrambled eggs was excellent. Lots of black olives in it. Poached eggs on avocado toast was the best. Also available is a variety of gluten free breads. Coffee was excellent with choice of cashew, coconut milk and soy I believe. So if you like cream, skim or regular milk in your coffee (like I do) you will have to Byo or be adventurous and try the vegan options. Beautiful space and excellent service, friendly staff.

Cafe for breakfast, fresh juices & vegetarian fare amid surf murals & patio seats.
Gone for brunch the last two Sundays. A week ago other than a bit slow it was OK. This Sunday my omelet was OK but the toast was like it never came near a toaster. Bread was soft, not firm like toast, showed no signs of a heat source. In addition, no jelly was on the table or offered.

Doesnât look like much, typical coffee shop style. Wasnât sure, considering itâs right on 101, great location. But great location doesnât always equate to good anything else. Friendly, welcoming staff. You can tell they have all been working together for a long time. Very seamless service. Very knowledgeable, very accommodating. Great food, great prices, great service. Will definitely be back.

The ABC quesadilla is delicious with Avocado. The Denver Eggs Benedict is also delicious. The restaurant is so busy and there are patio seating if you would like to bring your dog. Everything on the menu is great, live this restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The portion is huge and should be shared.

We were in Encinitas for a training run from Moonlight Beach and this is very conveniently close to walk to from that parking lot. We received prompt and friendly service that kept the coffee flowing. But my favorite thing is you can order a single pancake (any flavor) and add eggs and bacon for a very reasonable price. Since I had just run 12 miles, I felt entitled to indulge in a banana and Nutella pancake with my eggs and bacon. OMG! Such deliciousness! Can't wait to go back.

There's always a line at Pipe's. It moves surprisingly fast, so that's not a problem. It's a rustic place, shabby but chic. The crowd there is composed of a raffish crew of beach bums and wealthy Californians, with an impressive canine contingent. Everybody gets along. The vibe is California Cool. The food. Very, very excellent. The service. Couldn't be better.Con't miss this place.
