I visited at about 5pm. Most of the seating area had been closed off, with chairs stacked up. I had coffee and it was the usual standard and price. I generally find fault with the cost and generosity of their loyalty scheme, and was not surprised this time. As I left at 6pm, most of the seating area was occupied and the seats were still stacked up at the back. The unoccupied tables all had dirty crockery, wrappings and other waste on the tables. 2 staff members were inside the counter, talking with no interest in clearing the tables. As I said the usual for Costa!

I like Starbucks coffee I hate costa coffee it is too bitter. I would like to recommend the staff do not put their hands right inside the paper takeaway cups when writing the name on the outside of the cup, this makes me cringe, please train your staff to hold the cups on the base please !!!

Friendly service but not much choice available for children. No crisps or choice of juice when we visited and soft seating area was falling to pieces; sofas torn and peeling didnât make you want to sit and enjoy a coffee. We frequently visit Sainsburyâs cafes when shopping, but this one lets the side down unfortunately.

After having a look around the garden centre we decide to pop in to the café for a light lunch. On this occasion I chose the cheddar cheese and onion marmalade toastie and coffee. As it was a lovely day we sat outside under a parasol. The meals arrived very promptly and the toastie was hot and very tasty. The staff are always friendly, efficient and helpful. A good experience.

Me and some family members came for breakfast here a number of times this week. One ordered a Little Breakfast, another ordered bacon on toast and I ordered white toast with butter. On the first visit, they didn't have any plastic straws because of recycling reasons. Yesterday when I came, there was a notice saying that there will be paper straws in June which two months away. Most of the café was clean. The food was excellent. Toast was delicious! Will recommend if you're coming for a coffee with your friends, breakfast or after school. Kids also eat free after 3pm!Very good!

Fantastic little cafe. My partner and i enjoyed a lovely breakfast/afternoon tea there on a Saturday afternoon. The breakfast was very well cooked and fresh coffee. My partner had the afternoon tea with amazing sandwiches and scones. Highly recommended and a lovely warm welcome from owner. Cosy place for a drink and a chat!
