Things to do in Dunedin
We are in Dunedin for a winter bicycle trip and stopped at Hopskotch cafe for a quick lunch before starting our ride on the Pinellas trail. Newly opened the place is fantastic - get there before the homemade pickles run out - they are the best. We had sandwiches and they were tasty and the bread was incredible. The service was attentive. If you are going to the brewery next door, you can bring your food over - a real Dunedin collaborative neighborhood

How could we have never visited the Dunedin Fine Art Center all these years? Well, finally I noticed it on TripAdvisor and also that the facility included the Palm Café, which offered a Sunday brunch. We ordered Crab Cakes Benedict and Croque-Madame (grilled sourdough, swiss cheese, sliced roast beef, and horseradish sauce topped with béchamel sauce & two over-easy eggs). Everything is made to order, so you can modify parts of the dishes, which we appreciate. Both came with a generous side of home fries. Both dishes were delicious and the Crab Cakes Benedict were big enough to take half of it home. Very generous portions for a surprisingly reasonable price. Our server was great and the atmosphere of being in the Dunedin Fine Art Center is perfect. Oh, and there is both inside and outside seating available. After brunch we spent at least an hour wandering around the very large Center and i heartily suggest you do the same. Wonderful art galleries, a gift shop featuring works by local (Tampa Bay mostly) artists, a whole section for young children, and and lots of classroom space. We want to go back to take some photography classes (check out all the offerings on their website) and try some other brunch dishes (I have to try their Lobster Roll). What a terrific asset for Dunedin! I'm just sorry we didn't discover it sooner.

That "feel good" feeling comes first - we serve organic - raw - cold pressed juices, acai bowls with our homemade - glutenfree granola (vegan and nut free variations available upon request), smoothies, and DELICIOUS - LOCALLY ROASTED coffee. Everything is
I am in love with this new place for my acai bowl. At $10 it's not cheap and it takes a while to make it, which is a noisy affair, but the end result is delicious and I feel I've done so,etching good for myself.

I thought it was very overpriced for a VERY casual restaurant. It cost 2 people over 60 bucks for dinner of a baked acorn squash, and one dessert we shared. The food was good, the dessert outstanding, but for 60 bucks, we could have gone to a much nicer , high end restaurant. I think they have such high prices because they feel they have a run on the vegetarian community.

My guest had a roast beef brie sandwich 3/13/2019. Came out on a basic hamburger roll. One slice of dried up roast beef that my guest said "was the worst sandwich she ever had. Due to circumstance, my guest had to leave unexpectedly to attend a meeting and so left before I had a chance to speak with her. (She was having an internet meeting during our lunch.) The next day she shared her opinion of the sandwich.Hello David,I am so sorry for the experience your friend had. I do not know what happened because it is served on an Onion Kaiser, it has 5 oz of roast beef, which we cook here, and can be served hot or cold. I do not know how she ordered it. I do apologize for the sandwich and do not know why she wouldn't tell the server there was something wrong with it. We aim to please and would gladly fix it or something else for the guest if they are not satisfied. Please reconsider your review and come back to try something else. We will make it right.

The Little Red House is a French American café and restaurant located in downtown Dunedin. We offer freshly prepared meals, organic when possible, with gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. Our café & bakery offers a large selection of hot or iced co
The setting is beautiful and the staff is as friendly as you would expect French to be. My wife had the muffin which she said was dry. I had the egg, cheese and bacon sandwich. Underwhelmed and fairly tasteless. They serve 20 different types of teas but surprisingly not Earl Grey. Oh well.

My sister and I ate breakfast at this restaurant while staying at a cottage in the Dunedin area. The restaurant was clean and the service was excellent. We each chose the more adventurous selection--Lobster Benedict--and it was very tasty and quite filling. If you are looking for a small privately owned place to enjoy breakfast, this restaurant will definitelymeet your need.Thank you!!

We love this cozy, friendly cafe and have lunch here often. The sandwiches are delicious and they offer a good gluten free bread as well. There are tables inside, on a covered front porch and outdoor tables with umbrellas as well. Owner has always greeted us and been very friendly. This really is a relaxing little gem.

We went here for lunch and brunch. Delicious food and friendly service. The restaurant was clean and bright. We both had fish dishes, and the fish was VERY fresh and prepared well. They have a small dessert option that was like a chocolate mousse. It was very yummy!Dear Connie P,Thank you for taking the time and giving us a review of your most recent visit to Cafe Alfresco. We are pleased that everything was enjoyable from start to finish. Anytime you're back in the area, know our door is always open for a fulfilling meal!Sincerely,Shardai Chaput
